Adored this practice. The warrior - extended side angle flow was wonderful and breath just naturally synchronised with it ( something i often struggle with)

LOVED this one! At first when coming to the mat, I was feeling tired, sore, and honestly very grumpy as I'm recovering from a stomach virus that has exhausted my energy this week. Once we started the loop I was like "oh no I don't think I have the energy for this." but then we started the second side and I realized I had been making it too difficult for myself! Once I remembered to bring a sense of ease I was able to relax into the flow, which I very much enjoyed! A metaphor for my life I think--when I'm feeling low energy or sick I tend to push myself too hard to compensate. This was such a nice reminder that I can get the same things accomplished without stressing so hard, if I just remember that sense of ease!

To do my yoga in the evening, so if i do something too stimulating i can have trouble sleeping. I can see myself using these practices for a long time, they are all wonderful so far!

I just did this for the second time. I’ve never repeated a session later in the day but I liked it. Kind of like the second time you see the movie you see things you didn’t see the first time.

Adriene, The words that introduce this practice are so true. In January 2023 I started this journey of daily practice. The transformation that has occurred in my life is profound. After nine months of daily practice, I started to love myself in a whole new way. Maybe in the first real way of my life. I left a job that I had had for 20 years, which had been causing me unhappiness for 10 and released myself from significant stress. After 1 year of practice, I became a vegan, which honors a core value in my heart. After 18 months of daily practice, I released myself from alcohol and started resistance training and deepened my yoga practice. And now at 2 1/2 years since I started this beautiful Center 30 Day journey, I am 50 pounds lighter, I feel strong, and I can truly say I love myself out loud. Thank you so much for your sharing the kind mantras, The wisdom of yoga, and all of the other wonderful things you lovingly give. I will keep showing up!
