When you put a pillow down for your knees, but by the time you're ready to lunge... 🤣🤣

Sylvester enjoyed today's practice. We ended up converting lunges to planks and reclined poses to seated.

But the purrs and cuddles were delicious! Adriene the best practices include pets!!!! 🙂🐈🐕

Thank you for this healing practice! Question about the alternate nostril breathing: is it normal to feel smothered and finding it hard to breath when doing this? Does anyone recognize this?

Thank you Adriene! I am among the many who are spiralling down right now. Thanks for honoring that, and for keeping us company. Sending gratitude to you for bringing us some relief and comfort.

Adriene, thank you 🙏 for inviting me to practice with you. What an honor. All through this session I felt lighter amidst the hate in the world. I felt my non-conformity validated in the shared silences and breaths. I felt space to catch my breath. I felt my empty cup become full again throughout each stretch, asana and breath. And to read through the comments…. sigh. We are definitely not alone, none of us.

Namaste, all. 💕🕯️

I know I am having a heard time with life when I struggle through a FWFG practice. The good news is I am feeling a bit better! Thank you for this one.

I just want to say thank you, to Adriene, to the members of this community. I love the positive, compassionate atmosphere of FWFG. I really needed this practice today. All the political stuff, the hate, has gotten me down recently. Today, I went on a walk to try to get outside, to feel good but I ended up having a man I didn’t know, act strange to me in a way, where I came straight home because I felt uncomfortable. It left me feeling like the world outside and in (the internet) was all bad. This practice did help “refuel” me, it was the right balance of stillness and movement. Thank you truly♥️

This felt amazing this morning. Though I'm not in the States the constant barrage is affecting the entire world. In my little country of Botswana the sudden withdrawal of aid has devastated people's lives here, much worse in the rest of Africa. The chaos is affecting the world economy and international relations. The external instability and sadness is hard. But this, this place, this practice, is daily medicine. An antidote that puts me back in the correct lane. Thank you to Adriene and everyone here. 💜🩵💙💚

Beautiful offering. A lot of hopelessness, powerlessness, unfairness swirling around the collective right now. not all of it is yours to carry and you truly do have the power to let it go by setting boundaries with the entities in your life that make you feel that way (whether that be the news, or even a certain person.) when we are not feeling whole and resourced within ourselves is when we are most susceptible to exploitation. love you all
