A glorious yoga quickie for the quads, the hip flexors, the hamstrings and the low back!

Goodbye back pain is also a good name for this one, at least for me personally. Add this quick session to a longer practice, or drop in for a little connection while increasing your range of motion and decreasing risk for injury. I love this little sequence, I hope you do too!

Let me know how it goes for you in the comment section!

Alright so after doing this I'm going to hop back and retry the hero's pose workshop and see how that feels now!

Edit: Hah! Doing the hero's pose workshop after this one allowed me to stay in my variation longer than I did when I did the workshop before! I think in a future yoga calendar putting these two closer together- even the same day perhaps, since they are both quite short - would be really helpful! Hero is still a struggle for me but with my quads loosened up a little I could make minor adjustments or take " notes for next time" before I had to take a break and get a feel for what the pose will be if I continue to grow it. Cool beans!

Thank you so much for this video! In the initial quad stretch, I can grasp my left foot with my left hand but not my right foot with my right hand. When I try, it hurts in the middle of my back of the right side, has anyone ever experienced this or have any ideas of stretches that might help it? Thank you!

Having a block handy for the lizard lunge twist stretch was a great choice because today was not a flexible body day. 😅

All these sort of quad stretches are perfectly okay for me, except for the twisted lizard pose. I keep getting really bad cramps in the back of my leg when trying to get hold of my foot across my midline. I experience this sort of reaction in each leg when lifted. It then takes a while for the muscles in this area to settle back down again. Not sure what I can do to get around this. How to prevent this cramp response? Any ideas?
