It's so funny - whenever you prompt for Knocking on Heaven's door I feel like...ugh, I hate this. Lol! I don't know why! Does anyone else have that feeling?? But - regardless, I always do it and I usually always feel a shift for the better, looser, freer. Happy Friday! :)

After a lifelong battle with trauma, I am beginning to cultivate joy. My brain and nervous system were not wired to feel safe enough to experience much joy or connection but my commitment to therapy and yoga are helping me rewire and I AM finding joy. Pockets of joy but it's a start. This practice helped me allow a pocket of joy that is spilling off the mat and into my morning. Thank you for all the ways in which the highest in you honors the highest in others. I feel blessed and I honor you, Benji and all the FWFG peeps.

I AM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!!!! :) I used to think I had to process life with my brain. Thank God I found my beloved yoga mat …. I have hit the mat so often at night before I go to bed to process trauma. I work in healthcare, and see a lot of hard stuff. But tonight when my precious son and his darling wife called me to tell me they were expecting a baby, it felt way too AMAZING to process with my brain. So I honored the news with what I know works. This energy is too precious to mess around with with anything less sacred than yoga. Searched Joy on FWFG and here I am. Thank you Adrienne and Benji and all you precious yogis out there for helping me celebrate tonight - and make room in my heart and body to welcome this new presence in my life. Bless you, my tiny grandbaby! I love you!!! ❤️

I just realized today that there won't be a 30 day yoga journey this coming January and it kind of bummed me out. Never realized how much of a highlight these have become over the years. So this practice of yoga joy was much needed today! ❤️

This practice is so loving to me today.

I celebrate today my mother’s strength and love that was always present for me. Today, 66 years ago she birthed me. People thought she was weak, she did not receive words of life from her parents, and they saw her as “debil”. She let the opinions of others define her, so she was anxious and scared most of her adult life. But there was strength, in spite of her husband’s demands, she kept me and gave me birth, she was 22 years old and her husband left her. Today, on my birthday, and every day, I honor her. Happy giving birth to me Mom, I know your spirit is watching over me. 💕

This app is getting worse and worse😢 After a couple of months of almost no interruptions, it stops all the time now, I have to clear the cookies after every session. Reloading takes time, finding the right place where you should continue is almost impossible. I love this community, I want to support Adriene's work, but I'm not sure I can continue like that, it's just too much, especially in relaxing sets where you don't really want to reload and start over.
