Today is my birthday Adriene . I am 72 and I do not feel or look it YET! I don’t make comments because I feel I’m always rushed and that’s ridiculous. However, at 72, I’m the caretaker for my beautiful identical twin Grandsons 3 days a week while their mother works from home.(thank God). I’m always content knowing she’s near if I need her. I’ve been doing yoga with you since I was about 67. The only regret I have is not having found you way earlier in my life, but there is a reason for all things and I’m happy that I now do yoga on a regular basis. I plan to teach it to the boys when they are old enough. They are now 17 months old and one of them is down dogging all the time. He just doesn’t know it yet. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. You’ve probably already had the ceremony so I’ll wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well. Adriene, you have so enriched my life and you have no idea. Your practices naturally led me into having a more spiritua

Every body is so different! I find myself always hurting during/after practices intended for restoration and relief, while hour-long intense vinyasa practices feel lovely. I think my pain started with holding the arms over the head too long for me, and the binds really hurt after that as well. I am a bit heavier and have short limbs, so i think some things that are therapeutic for the typical yoga teacher are very destructive for me. It seems like others are getting a ton of benefits from this practice, but I wanted to share that perspective too!

I made the long journey from bed to mat this morning and this was good. Thanks Adriene and team 🥰

Nice slow stretchy hatha practice that gets into the side body, legs, shoulders and hips. Makes for a nice evening practice (travelling or not) as it moves slowly from standing to the floor, such a nice cue to the body and nervous system to unwind and settle down for rest.

After a 12 hour drive yesterday, I got to do this practice in a place that is new to me! Thinking about how many of us in the community try this one while traveling somewhere different! 3/26/25 ☀️

Today, I made the choice to do this practice rather than nap, and I am sure I chose correctly! I now feel much lighter and energized after a few days of sitting too much. Thank you for placing this on the December 2024 calendar!!
