All are welcome to join in this fun session that is designed to nourish both your physical and mental health! Lizard pose, or Utthan Pristhasana, is a wonderful asana to work toward as it can build strength and increase flexibility. For those who sit in a chair a lot, this pose can also provide some great relief in the hips and lower back too. Listen to your body, channel your inner Lizard, and let’s join together for a little yoga fun!

Looking for more kid friendly sessions for home or classroom?
Find them here: https://fwfg.com/categories/kids-yoga

Love this practice. Very fun, my husband came in while I was practicing and he looked at the TV and said “What the ….??” When I told him he said, Adriene is fun. The hip work brought up emotion and love for my son who passed away this summer. 💔Still putting this in my favorites. FWFG has been a great support as I grieve and love at the same time for my son. Thank you Adriene and team for all you do.💕🙏

Funny ! There was no sound coming from my phone when I started this . I thought it odd but wondered if it was silent at the beginning . A few minutes later my husband came in saying he could hear ‘animal noises’ from our bathroom cabinet - somehow my phone had connected to that ! He wondered what on earth it was 🤣

THIS😂❤️ was already in my favorites before I even did it! Adriene, have I told you lately that I love you?

"As a lizard you have options. You have rights!"😆

I’m dating myself here, but the beginning reminded me of the beginning of pee wees playhouse, and it made me snort chuckle lol. Great practice! ❤️

Dearest Adrienne & Team, please never stop - I want to grow old with you!!! I'm 51. So only slight pressure on and I already have kids, this has been taken care off, too. I love your videos, this one especially made me laugh. You are witty and I can see all the little details you guys put in this. Thank you!!! ❤️

That was so much fun! 🦎🧘🏽. I have hardly been able to practice yoga, consistently or even at all of late. My Mum has terminal cancer and she is much closer to the end of her life now 😢 It's been very hard. Myself and other family members have had to bridge the gap between the care that's provided, and the care that my Mum needs. With my own disabilities, it's been really hard physically, as well as emotionally.

I 'made it to mat' today and was considering what practice to do. I looked at some practices I'd missed from last month's calendar, and saw this Lizard practice and thought it looked fun. I read the description, and I decided that I would like to try it, and I'm so glad I did! I found kneeling difficult because I have a lot of swelling in my feet, ankles, legs, and knees, but I adapted and was able to enjoy the whole practice 🥳🤩😍🥰. Thank you Adriene for yet again coming to my rescue. YWA and FWFG are always here waiting, for whenever I can get to them. As Adriene always says a little goes a long way and I'm hoping this practice will help recharge my batteries and keep me going for longer. Mum's now back in the hospice, and she'll either stay there for her End of Life care, or they'll get her to a point where she can move to a very nice nursing home. But now at least she's in safe hands, and my family and I can spend our time enjoying her sleepy company. And she doesn't have to worry about us doing too much and wearing ourselves out. We can all embrace our inner lizards, Mum resting on a rock, and the rest of us stretching out around her 🥲🥰...

...🦎💚🧓💚🦎

For one, this is YWA at its best. I love the child-like playful touches Adriene brings to these sessions. I have been trying to think of ways to be festive for Halloween this year and doing these themed videos is one of my favorite celebrations. I wanted to say thank you to Adriene for the end part. When I thought about something I loved very much I thought about my mom and how much my heart softens when I imagine her. The gesture of taking my hands and turning them toward my own chest made me start to cry. I will continue to return to myself in this soft, loving way... seems I might have more work to do here.
