Every time you go to your “Close Your Eyes” song I go to mine

“Close your eyes and I'll kiss you Tomorrow, I'll miss you Remember I'll always be true And then while I'm away I'll write home every day And I'll send all my lovin' to you”

I love Benji‘s downward dog at the end of the video. Perfect timing, almost like it was scripted.

Perfect timing, as always. I'm getting ready to send my daughter to kindergarten next week. We've spent the last five years at home together (outside of a very part time preschool experience). I don't know if I'd ever be fully ready to let her go, but it's the way things are supposed to go, so I have to put on a brave face and put my faith in the kind and caring professionals at her new school. It's been made even more overwhelming by the fact that we only just realized she's autistic this summer and it's been a scramble to educate myself on the world of neurodiversity and the potential ways school may not always have her needs in mind. I'm really going to miss the time we have had together—it's been a gift. Working on holding the sadness with the sense of a new chapter and new possibilities for growth and thankful for this practice giving me a little space to do just that 🌱

Today I give the keys back for an apartment that transformed my life. The person that moved in 2 years ago had a lot to learn and process and growth through. I am grateful for the close of that chapter, and for all that it gave me (like my daily yoga practice!).

Perfect practice to get the breath going to sync up with my movements, warmup the body in a loving way and the mind to focus. This has all the elements I have come to appreciate and love: heart openers, hip openers (love those knee circles while in tabletop position), sphinx/puppy poses, those movements yummy for the lymphatic system, thanks team! A little goes anking way to be ready for change by draining what hinders energies to flow in a way that serves. On to Respect and Replenish. Thanks Adriene ❤️🧡💛💚💙💚
