Loving this 30 days. I have a question with tree - I've been doing yoga on and off for years and guess I'm intermediate, now mid 50s and my body but we balanced as it has been in the past. When i do tree bent leg just slides down my straight leg. I've started doing it on my calf to try to rebuild stability/strength but if anyone has any advice on that is be grateful. 🌳

You’re on a roll Adriene! Great practice to check in with body-mind connection. Nice breathwork! Heartfelt gratitude for this empowering series! In slowing down, I find that I am more in tune with my inner voice. My inner-self’s delighted by all this attention (self-study). This series is a great way to slow down (be mindful), reflect, reassess and shift/grow/cultivate rituals and practices to reconnect with what matters most. Present moment-to-moment (that’s the intention) - allowing, releasing and letting go of whatever weighs heavily in the shoulders/chest/hips to come to the self that is its truest and best possible iteration! What a loving gift to oneself. Empowered by the tools and frameworks (ever so grateful) to guide the inner self towards ease and balance when “potholes” or “minor irritants” ☺️ along life’s journeys arise. Yep, shifting perspectives - embracing spaciousness and joy and contentment. “Everything is as it should be” - nice one, Teacher! Aiming for balance halfway through this magnificent and empowering (again) journey. Cognizant that I have control over my own happiness. My attitude shapes my daily existence. In those lights, I do another practice (aside from this lovely series) to enhance my journey. And those workshops (on the app), I incorporate them in my stretches. Self-care has never been made so easily available and guaranteed to work. Showing up to practice to get to know myself has been so wonderful, thanks in great part to you Adriene and the whole FWFG team. Thanks for rocking my world. Sending tons of loving kindness to this awesome community I feel so honored to be practicing along. Take good care everyone. See you on the mat. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

well, I am in Bulgaria, in Varna, by the sea. my partner decided to change his thinking and offer me the chance to build a family together, kids, a home, and happy life. he told me this on New Year's Eve - hello 2023. I've been keeping in touch with Lin McLean from England with regard to the Center. We send each other daily messages to keep going. I also have two new girls practising and so far they give positive feedback (liking that she is returning to her regular practice). For me, the centre has been a journey towards myself, seeing that not many stands in my way at all these days and I am protecting my time for movement. I started continuum movement therapy sessions with my mum and I am going to start the local dance classes which are a bunch of us native root people linking arms and going for a stroll-like dance to traditional Bulgarian music. I am super grateful Adrienne because I want to be a mummy soon and dancing has been a big subconscious wave which I am now bringing to light. The Center is helping me so thank you and the whole team. Namaste.

I have been doing YWA for 5 years and adore it, but my large body still can’t do her favorite “easy” pose of being seated with bent knees and elbows hooked around knees. My belly, boobs, and upper arms are all in the way. Now I either hold my legs behind my thighs or use a strap. I wish she would acknowledge this pose is not easy for everyone, but in the meantime, i am sharing that it is not easy for me, and if it’s not easy for you, you are not alone.

Anyone see a sline on their mat? If so, its mine. I think it shot out somewhere around Warrior 17ish? 😉
