<p>I am a 71-year-old former skier and dancer who had allowed herself to lose strength and flexibility in past years (two hip replacements - a busy work schedule - on and on...).  I have been a subscriber to FWFG for many years, but my practice was sporadic. However, I started a daily practice on January 1 of this year and have only missed a day or two since. Several days ago, on March 6, my son and I took his 3-year-old son (my grandson) skiing for the first time.  He had a great time but suffered many falls and tending to him took strength. I realized afterward that participation in this joyful experience would have been impossible had it not been for my regular yoga practice.  Today's Shakti Power Flow is especially good for skiers.  It would have been unthinkable in December that I could take skiing up again, but I am now looking for equipment sales.  Thanks Adriene!  Life changing. </p>

Loved this! Allow. Relese stuck energies. Let go of any tension in the body. Nice opening sit to reconnect with our motivation. Not a lot of chatter, but filled with supportive and highly descriptive cues. Your loving support and guidance allowed me time in the mat to bring about that inner power. Great way to assess body-mind-breath connection. Aligning with what mattters most, self-study, self-care,self-love at its finest most empowering form. Thanks Adriene. Spinal flexions, warrior flows, wide-legged forward fold, gate variation, goddess pose, downward dog/thread the needle (resting pose), bridge pose…and lotus so rewarding! Glad I saved this for this weekend. Thanks FWFG team for including this in this month’s calendar. Awesome practice! Gifted myself for showing up with a 15-min. savasana to allow the multitudes of nutrients to seep to seep in thoroughly and completely. Finding what feels good here, all the time! Thanks Adriene! Have been dealing with extreme burnout and grief, so my intention today was to "allow" myself to process. I did skip a lot of the exercise, cried for a little bit, and took variations on almost everything else 😂 but it was my first time not pushing myself to grin and bear the calendar practice even when it's the opposite of what I am feeling that day, and I think it was good for me. It's hard to do anything when suffering through burnout but feels better to do something than nothing when you have almost no capacity left. I'm just grateful to have learned to be kind to myself and take breaks from challenging myself.

<p>I really loved this practice. I don't know if it's a coincidence but I felt remarkably better today having done this - I've been under a lot of stress and suffering burnout - one of the things that always is reliaby helpful is Adrienne's yoga sessions as I've been recovering gradually but today something shifted and I finally feel myself again. It may be a coincidence but thank you for being an anchor in the storm.</p>

Thank you Adriene! This was wonderful. I am 55 years old and had a full knee replacement last June. I did not think I would be able to do yoga again. I have been following you since September 2022 and became a member in February 2023. I love your sense of humor and your sweet encoragement. I’m so happy that I’m getting stronger esch day thanks to your practice. Thank you!

The length intimidated me but I just got my new with Adriene mat given to me by my friend and was so excited to use it that i figured Go For It! So blessed to have this practice and my friendship! Ready to face my day!
