<p>In this 20-minute biomechanics workshop with Sumair, we’ll learn how improper alignment of the feet and ankles leads to faulty alignment of the knees and hips, causing pain in the back and neck. And it all starts with the big toe! You’ll begin with a self-massage to loosen the muscles of the feet, then move on to several corrective exercises to retrain your muscles to hold a proper alignment. Sumair encourages his clients to go through this sequence 3-4 times a week for better posture, healthier joints, and increased stability. </p><p><br></p><p>A chair, a yoga block (or a stack of books 3-4” tall), and, optionally, massage oil are used in this session. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
