<p>Receptive meditation is the foundation of meditation; think of it as a way to shine a light on your subconscious. In this lesson, Rey dispels some misconceptions about meditation and discusses its benefits. Receptive meditation isn’t about suppressing or controlling your thoughts but letting them flow freely while you practice being an observer. Self-observation leads to non-identification and self-remembering, key parts of mental health and clarity. Rey offers simple tips to minimize hindrances to meditation to help set yourself up for success. Finally, he will guide you through a box breath exercise followed by a short meditation. <p>Thank you, that was great.  May we have a 10 (or 15 or 20) minute video of Rey or Adriene sitting in silence, except for offering a welcome and a finish?  It would be good to have your company during a silent meditation session.  Thanks again</p>

Unbelievable. Rey! Even if I had no interest in meditation what so ever, I would listen to Rey explain it over and over again. I was thinking this was my first real experience feeling the effects of meditation. While my mind and body have been preparing for this for quite a while, Rey really helped put the kind of "how to" in persoective. Thank you! I can't wait to experience MORE.
