Wonderful practice. My mind is not at peace as my son struggles with mental health issues. Sam’s words about being a warrior and going through battle and coming back, give me hope. When we were in sitting forward fold she said it was ok if your mind was not quiet and to give yourself credit for showing up and trying. Thank you for your words Sam, they are powerful.

I love how all of the teachers bring different perspectives to the mat. Thank you Adriene and team for continually opening our minds and hearts to so many perspectives.🙏

Wow. 🥹💕🙏🏼 what an amazing teacher. I didn't want to get on the mat today. I just lost best friend to murder and im trying to find peace ans silence these thoughts. This class helped quiet my mind for a bit. Im so grateful to your teachings and the power of yoga.

I showed up and I tried. Boy did that resonate with me, and I burst into tears. I have chronic illnesses and each day is its own struggle. I can’t always do the calendar videos, and many times I heavily modify them. Some days it makes me feel like I am failing at yoga. Truthfully, somedays I feel like I am failing at life. But today I showed up and I tried. I need to remember this and offer myself gratitude and peace.

I loved the flow, Sam.

One thing I wish was that the guest videos would introduce what we're about to do or props that we need. The start is so sudden.

I broke up a sweat during the forward fold! I love the warmth that came with that forward fold (towards the end of the session) with my improvised bolster underneath my knees and bricks beneath my feet. Breathing in and out. That felt so good. Thanks for the extended time! The stretch of my spine, my back felt so delightful! For the shoulders and upper body too after all those new and exciting flows. And so grounding! It felt so wonderful within me! And the eventual savasana. The subtle full body sensations were so reassuring. Nice upper body release, flushed down on the mat. I am alive and I feel so good, grateful, happy, relaxed and lovingly supported. My mat held me up. (And it’s nice to recall those sensations off the mat too!) This was beautiful Sam! I so love those creative flows. It really pulls the mind back inwards, to stay engaged in each present moment. And how creative it all is! I love the warrior flows. The cat-cow-child’s pose. As well as the downdog-plank-child’s pose. Skandasana. Triangle pose while reaching elbow or hand up to the sky - I forgot to grab the brick so I just allowed my fingertips to reach downwards…I am grateful for all that I have as I looked around me. I have space to breathe in life’s beauty! I Find What Feels Good in this session. I am breathing well. It seems like we are all called to “battle” relentlessly, and practicing the push and pull on the mat is helping my inner warrior to stay focused, calm and sweetly fierce :) I can Scan, Dash and/or Answer whatever the situation calls for and be graceful. I choose to be a humble warrior. It’s quite easy for me to do and unnerving to those :)…Who knew that Yoga can enhance that too?!? I do now ;) That’s why I practice more. Life elevated. Thanks Sam, please keep these coming as I am sure more are benefitting too! 💙

The plethora of offerings from you Sam are all very welcome! They’re all landing well! That seated cat with interlaced fingers behind the back was lovely! I love spinal flexions and relishing each vertebrae creating space with each cat-cow movement! Strong backbone off the mat too! Yes to that! :)

……

Peace. Love. Light. To All. Be well. And. Breathe Well! Yummy! 🩷🧡💛💚🩵💙💜 04/26/25

It worked! My mind became quite and I feel refreshed, Sam. Thank you for your soothing dialog and series of moves that stretched my body. This was a bit too much for an evening practice as I like low to the ground practices for after dinner, but I showed up and made it through the entire session just fine. Thank you for preparing my mind and body for rest. ☺️

Excellent - that was the best thing that has happened to me all week. Your comment about being a warrior who has come out the other side was so correct - I cried. Thank you Sam.

Definitely liked this more second time around. I find Sam’s style takes a little getting attuned to but when you do it flows beautifully. 💕💕

Did this on Thursday and wanted to say thank you Sam, what a great practice! Didn’t read the description beforehand and was pleasantly surprised at the some of the challenging poses! Certainly stopped the chatter, quietened the mind and built strength ❤️🙏
