Thank you, Adriene for this calm and beautiful practice! I would like to honour and remember the great spiritual teacher Thich Nhat Hanh who passed away yesterday. I have been on a journey to explore Zen Buddhism in the last two years, and everything I have read and listened to by him and his students has been of great help and opened a lot of doors for me. Last night I could not sleep, because I'm about to make a big step in my professional life that is asking a lot of courage from me, and what finally helped me find some rest is the idea that this, too, is just a wave in the ocean, and regardless of how it plays out I am connected with everything and everyone around me. "Because we have seen the path, we have nothing more to fear." (Thich Nhat Hanh)

Today was a really bad chronic pain day for me and I wasn't even sure I was going to make it to the mat, but I made modifications as needed and managed to nail a Warrior 3 on my left side! I am energized!

Looking forward (based on the comments here) to doing this one another day; Move introduced an overuse injury in my hips/hip flexors/upper quads due to the heavy lunge and core focus, added to my 3x/week strength training. Going to take Adriene’s advice from the Sunday love letter and try some tenderness, and take a break from Move

Anyone else keep peeking at the video during the beginning when Adriene asked us to close our eyes just to see what Benji was doing? 😄

“Say something loving to yourself” and without even thinking, as if someone spoke through me I said, “Youre as beautful as a jewel found amongst the rocks in a river.” Wow. Dont know where that came from, but I romanced myself. 💕

I missed a few practices in January and am now coming back to them. This was a lovely surprise. I dont know if it’s familiarity with the posture, a prepared body or sheer physical ability, but balancing postures are always easier on my left leg.
