Itβs okay to have fun! High fives all around for this Day 5 session that may begin to reveal the shifts in state that one can feel when you show up for regular consistent practice. Little by little we have honored the body and tapped into our unique beautiful energies while holding regard for our connection to each other. This session offers the opportunity to build strength through poses like forearm plank, and to surrender in poses like heart to earth pose.

This therapeutic practice is 19 minutes and is a hug for body and soul.
In a cheap hotel room in Stratford Upon Avon, UK, that overlooks a snow-slushy carpark. Squished between a radiator and the end of the bed. And still this was amazing. Loving reading all the comments from around the world about the beautiful places we are practicing but this morning for me is a good reminder that r beautiful places are inside as well as outside ππ.

Hi everyone! Long time follower, first time commenter. I love this community β€οΈ. Iβm 31 and have been doing YWA for 4 years off and on but recently (7 months ago) started my daily practice. I have a VERY high stress job and I find that daily practice helps me shift out of my fight or flight mode. Unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with arthritis and have a pretty serious plantar fasciitis and ankle issue that will require surgery. I find myself pushing in poses to get more stretch in that area by also causing more pain. I guess Iβm just trying to say Iβm so scared that this injury will affect my ability to practice and Iβm feeling super nervous. Any tips for modifying regular poses with an ankle/foot issue would be much appreciated!

I'm here for this. Feels so good to begin the day this way. (In fact I've been doing it every morning for the last 5 years - following along with the calendar. I feel like "If Adriene prescribes it, then I'm doing it.")

Hello from Ontario, Canada!! Where we have been experiencing a bit of a snowy globe lately! Its a perfect time to stay in and practice, beside my window where I can see the flakes gently float by. Such comfort!! Thank you for the opportunity!

Good morning from Kamilaroi Country, NSW Australia, what a lovely series to start the year. I wish the bonus is that it is really a 30 day journey!

Good morning from Aotearoa (New Zealand). I am loving this series; thank you so much Adriene. I am being intentional to do yoga every day for this month, and this was a beautiful practice to move my body, calm my mind, and still my soul, amidst the normal busyness of our Summer season. Thank you π

I am in the snowy forests of Great Falls, Virginia and as the river bends I dance for peace and justice because a few miles away our beloved Washington, DC prepares for Inauguration Day.
