This lunar inspired yoga session is designed to help you cultivate a sense of balance and grounding during the New Moon.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>New Moons happen every month, when the moon comes between the Earth and Sun. New Moons are the first phase of the lunar cycle and they are a perfect time to reset! At a time when the shadow side of the moon faces us, we can honor the sacred within by checking in with ourselves, being intentional, and taking a little time for self care.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>This blend of Hatha yoga, breathwork and meditation is a home practice that you can incorporate into your New Moon self-care ritual or whenever you need a little practice to refresh and rekindle your inner light.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>Show yourself some love, indulge, stretch, and breathe into this cosmic energy! <p>I just moved away from home a couple of weeks ago and I've been going through it since then. Multiple car issues, flooding in the new place, distance from my partner, etc. and I feel like I couldn't catch a break. I cried all the way through this practice finally feeling like the energy in my life is shifting away from all the negative I've been dealing with lately. Thank you for this practice!!</p>

<p>I’m so happy to be here, even though I was unable to do 80% of this practice. For the last two weeks since shoulder surgery, wearing this awkward splint (ugh), I’ve managed to get to the mat every day for meditations and some light stretches but been missing the calendar and conversations so much. I decided to just hang out, do the breathing, and participate when possible, so I could join you in welcoming December. </p><p>Yoga has become such a core part of my life, and it’s been hard mentally and physically not to be able to do it every morning. That said, I’m so grateful for the strength I’ve gained over the last couple years. Working with one arm means lots of core activation and leg strength to get through day. Yoga has been the absolute best preparation—not sure how people manage this early recovery phase without that. </p><p>Thank you, Adriene and team and you all! ❤️🙏❤️</p>

<p>Today is my first practice for a while, as I have had aspiration pneumonia, added to the fact that beautiful German Shepherd Rocky died aged 8 years on Thursday. So the New Moon practice to restart my yoga seemed rather apt. He will be missed, but we will get another to fill the big emptiness in my home.</p>

<p>I did this on Rosh Hashanah (Shana tovah to anyone celebrating while reading this), and after a particularly difficult year, this practice was in incredible way to not just start the new moon cycle but the new year! I'm forever grateful to the entire YWA community! to a sweet new year!</p>
