<p>Once again, a video came out that perfectly filled a need in my life.  I loved this video. It was perfect for my day.  Today I am trying to break my morning addiction to my phone.  Instead of picking it up and spending an hour scrolling, I came right to the mat.  I actually did three videos today as well as my normal breathing practice.  It feels so much better than mindlessly scrolling on my phone.... Here is to the first day of a new practice - the practice of focusing.  </p><p>In celebration of this, I thought I would share one of my newest photographic creations, Bridge Reflections. It captures water, light, and structure.  </p><p>Update: It is now September 13, and I have continued my new practice of waking up and doing yoga before looking at my phone.  I feel like I have regained hours of my time.  I am more productive and feel a sense of achievement.  It is amazing what you can do once you decide.  I felt adicted and now I feel strong.</p>

<p>I would like to hear what other people's intentions are for their day if they're willing to share? Sometimes I'm very sleepy for morning meditation and can't quite think of intentions right away. </p>

<p>I am beginning a yoga and meditation journey. I have an 8 month old joining me so it's not as peaceful as I always thought it should be, but I'm very grateful to have her here. This was a lovely start to September 😌</p>
