I would love to hear Light talk about the difference between meditation and mindfulness, if there is one at all. This idea that we can take our meditation anywhere evokes that same type of mindfulness I aspire to carry through life, and I think Light would have some valuable insight on the nuances of this practice. Thanks for bringing your practice into this space, Light, and I hope Adriene can have you back again soon!

Thank you so much for your guidance. I have been meditating for some years now, even attendet 10 day lasting vipassana retreats, where we meditated up to 14 hours a day, but only now found this selfloving and selfaccepting approach to it. I was tought to name whatever came up (thought, feeling, sound, etc.) and come back to the breath. Now I see that whilst doing so I was shaming myself for having these thoughts and feelings, a pattern I know from everyday life. I was beeing hard on myself even in meditation. Thank you for showing me, that I don‘t have to be. It feels very much like Adrien‘s approach to self acceptance in yoga - I can imagine why you two have a special connection.

to yield, is it to give in? I don't understand that word

It was the first time I laughed during a meditation. I cried in the past, but never laughed

I love this series and Light’s approach to meditation. It is so much like how I have been meditating, but I always felt like I was doing something wrong. It’s so rewarding to hear someone say that I’m not doing it the wrong way. My meditations are becoming deeper and more relaxed now that I know I’m not meditating the wrong way. Thank you Light for this ❤️🙏
