Needed that. Yesterday had a memorial service for my 2 sons. Older gone 15 years, younger just passed 14 September 2021.💔💞

This is something i have been contenplating all week. I hear half full/half empty used to describe your a cup pretty often. What about the size of your cup? Would you rather have a full small cup or an enourmous cup that was half full or maybe even one quarter? I used to have a pretty small cup. It would often be full, but it did not take long till it was empty. Now i have a much bigger cup. When its full, it takes much longer to empty. It takes a bit more to fill too, but I run out less often and seem to have more opportunities to add to it along the way. It may not always be full, but it’s usually enough, and more than my old cup held.

❤️❤️ video description: We start in flat back position doing a full body stretch. Then hugging the knees up to the chest. We rock and roll a few times up to seated. In a cross legged seat we do side body stretch on each side (and personally I like to hold each side for the full length of both sides, then rewind the video and do it again on the other side). We then come forward onto all fours and up to a down dog, with knees bent, before straightening the legs and pedaling it out. We squeeze our knee up and in, before kicking out for three legged dog and then up into a low lunge. We do our lunges on each side and “little chatarangas” (plank, cobra, down dog) in between. Then back to down dog and walking up to forward fold. From there we do a flow in a chair pose variation. After that we step wide on our mat for a star pose. And jump back into center ending with our hands in prayer.

This is such a favorite for me! In such a short time it really gets the love and energy flowing through my body and feels so good on the physical body as well. Great for in the morning or any time I want to refresh and connect.

Okay. I admit it! I opened the July calendar a day early, looking for some inspiration, and I saw this all time favourite yoga practice. Which appeared just at the right moment, after packing up my house all day, ready for a new job, new country and new adventure . Thank you, Adriene and team for hitting the sweet yoga spot.

Thank you for this practice. Husband been in hospital for 2 weeks and still very ill. I didn't think I'd be able to practice this morning but I thought I'd show up. I'm marking this as a favorite. Although I still feel sick in the pit of my stomach, I found I could breathe and focus for a few minutes at a time. I'm grateful.

I just quit my job and took a road trip away from all of it. Today's practice was the first time I was able to feel all the anger trapped in my back body, and I wasn't even aware it was there! Thank you, Adriene <3
