Ok! I walked 7.5 miles, did the Match 13 motivate practice which was only 10 minutes so added this empowerment stretch and restore and it was an awesome combination!

<p>Lovely reastorative class. A bit too energizing for pre-bed, but perfect for a mid-day reset in the middle of a tired afternoon! I paused it to extend the seated twists, and replaced standing forward fold with seated forward fold for enhanced relaxation. </p>

<p>What a great practice for easing out the aches and pains of a tough workout yesterday with my PT. I can't do hero pose (never could and I'm unlikely to start being able to do so at 73) but I still enjoyed what I could do by way adaptation. A hidden gem of a practice.</p>

<p>Sought this one out this morning. Ran a 10k race with a friend yesterday + then got my Covid booster later in the day. Can’t tell what is making me sore, but I needed something restorative today. <p>I swapped this out for day 2 of my empower practice because I went a bit hard on the physical activity yesterday- not just yoga but also cardio and strength training, and feel all wrung out today! Part of my wellness journey is choosing self compassion over perfectionism 🪷 This was a nice practice for my sore sore muscles! I will continue to show up while also being kind to myself </p>
