I’m not sure anyone will see my comment but wondering for those who have done this series before if all the sessions are so “chatty”? I dont mind a slower practice but Im finding myslef impatient with all the talk. If this is the case with all the days maybe I would prefer a different series.

I have spent so long trying to commit to a yoga practice but never before have I felt as if I have someone truly guiding me towards equanimity and ease... until now. Thank you for putting so much love and energy into your videos. It really comes through in your content. I swear I recommend your app or YouTube channel all the time. You are a wonderful light in this world.

I’m really appreciating the concept of going back to basics. Have practised yoga on and off for over 30 years. I am bound to have developed some poor habits. I know with my horse riding I do and so have regular lessons to address that. This series feels like it will do the same for me with my yoga practice. I just wish I could find a way to sit cross legged on the floor comfortably for a longer period. My hips are tight and slightly arthritic so sitting cross legged for any prolonged period becomes quite a challenge. Any ideas what to do other than just put my legs out straight to relieve the pressure?

“To have a sustainable and meaningful home practice that serves.” Dedicating time to consistently incorporate value-adding activities in one’s daily life. Self-study and discovery. To maintain a balanced state of being. Lovely. Thanks Adriene for staying true to your purpose. I can attest to its effectiveness! For your constant encouragement to focus on the movement, alignments….awareness of the subtle body, the sensations that come forth and to push back when the breath is somehow not all there. Safety first. And not focus on how I look in each pose, but as to how I am feeling in the pose. And where I can soften and grow the pose, notice what comes up in the stays and how I transition…to always be mindful of my pace…marrying breath to movement…that has been so helpful for me all throughout my journey. Being guided exceptionally well and being able to follow the pace and cues with integrity with my eyes closed.

I came back to this after a long day, I started it earlier this morning, but life “intervened” and I had to answer the call. 😊 I made it back to the mat tonight. Yay! This whole session is filled with gentle reminders that I have agency over how I experience and grow my at home practice. I appreciate that about this safe space! This session is a nice checking in to how I have been carrying on in my practice. To stay true. And it’s been great! I love those side twists. And with more awareness of the Mula Bhanda and Uddiyana Bhanda, I am relishing each pose, twist, hold or stay, expansion…on and off the mat too. Thanks for everything. I am recognizing that my “foundational knowledge, understanding and energetic awareness,” are helping me (again) off the mat too. Yoga is life. This session reiterates the principles and concepts of our practice and I welcome it with open arms, mind and heart. Peace. Light. Love. The journey continues with so much gratitude! 🩷🧡💛💚🩵💙💜💙🩵💚 11/10/25

I did day 1 of the practice and finished that. However, I tried day 2 twice and was still too tired to finish. So I did another easier practice one of those days. On my third try I succeeded with day 2 finishing the practice. Thanks for the great lesson.

I truly appreciate all this foundational stuff but could have done without so much talking, especially while in poses that despite what they say are NOT resting poses, such as Down Dog. May have emitted a few expletives now and then 😂
