<p>Welcome to your Day 1 Dedicate practice! This full length yoga session invites you to take the necessary time to drop in and focus on essential vocabulary that you will take with you for the whole 30 days. Set the tone for your journey as we DISCERN or recognize your reason for showing up. </p><p><br></p><p>The hardest part is showing up. This loving, informative and foundational practice will ease you in nicely. </p><p><br></p><p>We are doing this!</p>

<p>I'm returning to this on the heels of the Flow 30 day journey, Jan 2024. I'm planning to do Dedicate now, for all of Feb 2024. I'm so excited because Dedicate is the journey that committed me to regular yoga practice back in Jan 2019, and this will be my first time doing it since then!!! Wow, 5 years later!!! 💗</p>

<p>I have begun! Lovely! I very much appreciate those mindful breath work! Marrying the breath to meditative movements conjure up so much energy within me that seemingly lifts my spirits up. It is so cleansing. Soothing. Empowering. Like gathering my whole being to come forth and be one with the elements. Drawing energy from the universe to my heart and whole being. So that was a lovely 20 minutes or so of pure joyful breathing experience! I’m glad you have brought this to recent videos, I just love how those actions bring me so much levity! </p><p>Love the cat-cow. I don’t recall the whole sequence but the flow and and the stays were really interesting. How we started low on the ground in the easy pose all the way to standing and ending with a supine twist and precious moments in savasana. It’s so beautiful. </p><p>I love the focus on foundations and really gathering the breath to create the flow of energy to move through each mindful action with so much awareness and depth of breath and movement. This is a great checking in to notice, recognize and pay attention to how I am connecting breath to movement with each expansion or contraction, each push or pull…how I listen to my internal feeds and honor where I am. This is an act of internal awareness.a nice checking in on how I am doing on the mat. (And and off of it!). Accountability. How I am moving with intention. Purpose. Intent. And how I gift myself grace. How I maintain awareness all throughout my practice. How I respect my time and energy to discover new and meaningful ways to move through the world at ease with what is, while I maintain my equilibrium. It’s an act of self-love. Self-discovery. Honoring where I am. And how to be more in tune with who I am (at every stage…). And how I can elevate my life. It’s a commitment to dedicate my practice to connecting all of me to FWFG. To be authentically me. Thanks Adriene. This is a very promising premise. When I embarked on a journey of self-study, I audited my time and where I need to improve on and how I could get the most out of my Me time daily…and this space has been such a lovely find. I have kept at it. Thank you! And the premise for this series aligns with what I am seeking. As with all the contents here. So I am grateful for this 30DoY as I am chronologically taking in each one from the very beginning to the very last. I have a few more to do and I am taking my time. I am loving all the finds as it all adds more depth (and appreciation) to what I have access to, right in the comforts of home. This first day is such a soothing experience. Also great way to begin right where everything is centered on: the breath. And the essential (foundational) poses like sitting cross-legged, tabletop, standing/forward folds, halfway lifts, plank pose, heart-to-earth pose, downward facing dog, sphinx pose…and take into account how I am about everything. It’s a nice check in. A nice reminder to go back to the basics and flow from there. Thank you for your highly descriptive and supportive cues. Right down to how we should be feeling in each pose or holds or transitions. How to cool down the body using the breath or warm up. The awareness you emphasize all throughout each session. To keep us all practicing at home safe, injury-free and confident in what we are doing. That we have the choice to adjust, modify and shift our approach. To always FWFG. Your kindness has allowed to to surrender completely. And it has benefitted me well. Rolling out my mat is such a lovely way for me to grow and learn. It has been an amazing journey. And I am revved up to Dedicate more time to discover more ;) of what lies within so I can function off the mat with more grace, sense of self and maintain a balanced state of being. Be patient and stay present. Thanks for everything. Finally…Day 1 is in the books. And this was such a lovely way to start the journey! I aim to spread more Peace, Light and Love. For All. To do that with integrity, I have to fully be me. 💙 Time is of the essence. So much is going on. I have begun…again. Yes! 💚🩵💙💜 11/09/25</p>
