This was incredibly difficult for me, I had to modify so much ,… my core is weak, and I wasn’t able to do any of this correctly some not at all. This has never happened in my practice with yoga with Adrienne… I wasn’t ready for core strengthening, I need something that builds to this,… any suggestions?

Fir some reason, I normally somewhat enjoy the core workouts, finding them just challenging enough, but not generally torturous. Today, it was like the lactic acid in my abs was an inferno!!!!

The side planks with thread the needle, I had to modify to darted side planks. In this version the plank runs from the knees - with low legs extended behind you, at a right angle to the rest of your body - instead of from the feet. I felt my obliques activate so much more in this darted adaptation - perhaps because I could lift my hips a lot higher - than I did whilst struggling to do the exercise with both legs straight! I sometimes forget that 'going down a level', or taking an adaptation, can help me to better engage the muscles I'm meant to be recruiting. 🤯😅🧘🏽

I laughed out loud at Adriene's suggestion of repeating this workout back to back, two or three times, because, by the end of this practice, in the words of the great Taylor Swift: "I died dead" 🥵😵😵‍💫😯😯 LMAO!

Glad I’m not the only one with neck concerns, esp starting around the 6:50 mark. Any tips on managing this or working our way towards this position from a neck perspective?

Today marks 2 years in a row of daily yoga practice for me! A super tough one on the calendar but a good one to note how far I've come on this journey! I began 2 years ago today, not having a clue and never having done yoga at the age of 52. It was hard! I was a mess with no strength and poor balance. But I was determined. Today I got through this entire practice and barely broke a sweat! Thank you YWA and the FWFG team for completely changing my life!

First thought when reading the four-letter-word of this practice Core: Nooo, not today... Then I saw the duration - 22 minutes. Okay, Cristina, you can do this. Actually, you need this! If Adriene scheduled this Strenght Ritual for Day 9 of Blossom it's the perfect day to engage the muscles and love me for committing to this on a daily basis. After all the hardest part is showing up, so considered it done. Namasté beautiful community
