The power of the breath is limitless! It is quite evident in this practice! I was not keen on doing this, but the comments convinced me to guve it a go! I am so glad I did, thanks everyone! Acceptance, focus, patience, trust and regularly showing up on the mat (for me) is key to achieving balance. This was so empowering! The only downside was that I did this on carpeted floor so I wobbled in one legged tadasana. I will revisit this session on solid ground. ☺️ I am ever so grateful — for the pillar of strength — I have discovered through this community! To the creative team behind all these, Sumair, Rey, Marnie and of course Adriene, many thanks for graciously sharing helpful tips geared towards enhancing our yoga practice. Understanding the importance of proper alignment, sensations, breath/mind/body/muscle connections helps me maintain a healthy and injury-free practice. Thanks Adriene, for emphasizing: that the breath comes first, to listen to my body (know/acknowledge my limits) and focus my mind on the mat and your countless helpful cues delivered with so kuch loving-kindness, ever so gently and at times playfully, has been crucial in Moving me towards Embodying a powerful self! Thank you for this daily gift! Peace, Light and Love to everyone I am so honored to be with on this journey! 💚

I have recently been struggling with an MS diagnosis and today was a day where everything was difficult, even standing requires effort. I dragged myself to the mat and jerked my way through this and I feel so much better and movement is a bit smoother now. Thank you for reminding me to be grateful for this body even when it’s struggling and not as capable as I want or need. A much needed reset. Thank you 😊

I

I did this practice about a year ago and it was a challenge for me. After another year of regular yoga practice I did this one today and I am happy to say it was easier for me. Its still a tough practice but I felt stronger and could keep up with the pace. Regular practice makes such a difference in SO many ways. ❤️

Wow, what a nice discovery! I loved the flow "one-legged tadasana - warrior three", felt like doing a tai-chi sequence in those kung-fu moovies :)

This was a great practice to avoid from reality, even if for a tiny second. My dad who has been working all his life csnt afford to buy food and I feel so useless. Yet, I found strenght in my breath and in my body. Thabks Adriene for this massive gift.

During this great yoga I heard the rainforest in the background and that brought back some memories. The rainforest is unimaginably impressive. It also reminded me of a book I read three years ago. The Lost City of the Monkey God by Douglas Preston. This book, based on argology, history and adventure, also makes you dream of what there is still to be discovered. This of course has nothing to do with yoga, but is highly recommended for those who love the rainforests and history of South America and want to dream away for a while. It is set in the undiscovered rainforests of Honduras.
