This last week, my family and i lost my father and i am holding a lot of grief right now. This practice was just enough movement that felt doable, as well as soothing to my broken heart. Thank you.

To be honest I’m a bit torn about this one. In many ways this is a superb practice. It feels like a classic adriene vinyasa flow - you check in slowly and gently, activate the core with a hovering cat and a forearm plank, find your spine with cat-cow and sphinx, stretch your shoulders with a nice long puppy pose, get into the lower body with some gentle lunges and of course, a down dog. What follows is a nice, somewhat slower paced flow with warriors and side angles. After a quick break, it adds some serious thigh work with a chair-hummingbird-one legged tasasana-warrior three sequence. Give that core a final little nudge with a boat pose, then cool down on your back. Great length, it got me warm but it‘a definitely doable. The reason I’m torn is that it‘s just so chattery. Adriene is, essentially, talking nonstop through this video. I’m not super chatter sensitive, often I actually like some company when practicing. But I found this a bit much. Not sure I’ll do it again.

The daily practice is so often exactly what I need. My grandmother passed a few days ago and I have so much grief sitting in my body - this practice was a fav already but yesterday it had me literally coughing out the stale energy in my heart and upper back. Thank you, thank you, thank you

Fabulous! I didn’t think I wanted an hour long practice, yet the time flew by. ❤️✨

One of my favourites 🥰. I saw it on this month's calendar, but saved it for today (Saturday) as it's longer and a good one for a day off 😊. Thank you. Namaste 🙏

What a great yoga again. I have done this before and knew there were some challenging parts. Bengi in the picture at the end brought my thoughts back to Muzli who left us last month and was always present at all my yoga. He came 12 years ago from a killing station in Hungary where friends were able to rescue him just in time. He was about a year old then and had a huge backpack. He grew bigger and bigger (55 kilo) as a half wild dog that people did not understand, he knew perfectly well how nature worked but avoided people wherever he could. Here at home near Nijmegen near the forest, I had to carry him across the street for the first year because the 150 meters to the forest, too much of a trigger. In nature he was himself and not afraid of anything. He felt at home straight away, he had chosen our house when he came to visit shortly after his rescue and never left. During holiday's in the mountens he came to life. Was an intensive dog. But oh so sweet and loyal. I miss him for ever.

A longer practice that initially I resisted but once on the Mat I realised just how much I needed it! Great practice that worked the entire body yet brought calm to my mind ❤️🙏❤️
