Oh god I hated this 😄Maybe this works better as a follow up session, when you’re already stretched out. Avoid as first thing in the morning.

This is really good but I suggest watching it through once before trying to follow along as trying to balance and watch what he is trying to instruct you to do at the same time is tricky

That was a test! ;) wow! Thank you Rey for expanding our knowledge and understanding of standing poses. Nice cues to find our center of gravity. And hips/feet position. Right away, in the first standing splits, I felt the downward current of energies from my standing lower leg to the soles of my 🦶. And my solid calf muscles, hamstrings and quads. That was intense! But so good! And humbling. I tried and succeeded without a block the second time on my right leg side…and on my left side I rushed to move my left ribcage, I wobbled…my top leg landed behind, as I had to adjust and shift….modify to do kind of like a wild thing pose :) variation. Thank you for strong shoulders. Hand placement alignment awareness (and cues to push up from the ground)….And yogi feet and toes! I was able to shift and adjust. I really find that the practice works to safely catch me and ease me into my routine, and off the mat too. I did meditation to balance the nervous system prior to doing this. I believe it helped prepare me for this session too. I stayed for 5 minutes in savasana, all over calmness while the remaining sensations of the downward flow of energies on the left lower leg felt so nice as it subsided. Heavy from the hips to the soles of the feet. I am alive! Thank you Rey! Core on! Great way to protect the hips and lower body. And lift up and feel light from the hips up. Peace, Light and Love to everyone practicing! Be well. Practice more :) 💛💚🩵💙💜 09/26/24

Been doing this one once a week since it was released, and the difference I’ve already noticed in my standing splits is incredible. Love this one!

SUPER FANTASTIC PRACTICE!!!

I did this practice three times before I commented… The first time I was not very happy with myself because I was super clumsy. The second time, as familiarity with raise cues kicked in, the poses became much more effective. The third time, this practice with Ray flowed much more smoothly and allowed me to dig deeper. Each time doing this video, I have felt my glutes become stronger and my balance allow more balanced throughout my body (if that makes sense). Thank you Ray for your knowledge, guidance, and encouragement!! I hope you have the time to bring us more of your instruction!

Is it irresponsible to do this without blocks?

Love the sequence! Been longing for more advanced practices recently.

Thank you. My posture had gotten really bad after a few years of grieving, and COVID, and I don't even know what. I've been slowly improving it again and have realized a big part of the problem for me is lack of strength in, well everything, but especially my legs. I love how intentional Rey is about engaging the right muscles before moving into poses. It helps me be more aware of how I'm using my body, what my limits are, and when and where to engage certain muscles. His cues work really well with how my brain thinks about movement and posture. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wow, that was AWESOME! Do not let “advanced” scare you off and go ahead and grab your blocks. I’m very far from advanced and can’t even do the very first foot cue so I thought I was simply going to practice being with my frustration. Instead I got into half moon pose on one side for the first time ever, found a lot more connection with my back leg, and feel invigorated! Rey’s cues are really useful and I think all levels can benefit from this practice. I’m going to try to remember to return to this regularly. Thank you Rey!!!
