When we take the time to enrich the quality of our relationship with ourselves we are directly influencing the quality of all other relationships. This session highlights how yoga practice can be a practice of devotion, a dedication to one’s self, and the way in which that is connected to everything. We continue to dedicate time, attention, and energy to finding conscious breath.

Today’s contemplation is split into two parts with the invitation to really devote this time and exploration to what feels authentic and good for you. And, to understand or stay open to the fact that this is not just for you, it is for everyone who may cross your path too.

What does it mean to dedicate yourself and really give yourself over to a practice, a project?

This is an opportunity to cultivate generosity and to be of service. Each time we come to practice, join our hands in prayer, come to our appropriate edge. May we also use the energy we cultivate in our practice to send some energy to someone else?

Can we build love and awareness within, dedicate to that, so that we can share it freely with others?

We don’t stay in our bubble of awareness - we cultivate it to expand it and share our gifts.

If it is difficult, remember this is a practice, it is a training, but we can choose to dedicate ourselves to showing up. Dedicate to the process. Dedicate your attention to your breathing.. and the rest will unfold.

Let me know how it goes in the comment section down below!

Although this was a beautiful practice and I was able modify, I don't think this should be considered "hands free". Planks and downdogs are difficult with a broken wrist!

Lordamighty, I've NEVER felt luckier! I feel like I've been given the key to life..I understand why it's so important to make the devotion to showing up on your mat every day-to be able to move from a center that is in alignment with a heart and mind that are as full as possible with love and goodness! The closer I get to this point, the more graceful I become. I'm a storyteller but I can't even put into words how I'm feeling! I'm a recovering addict so because of the life that I've lived,I've taken SO much..and I'm so blessed and grateful that I've been given this second chance at life! P.S. I still have never seen myself practice so I think putting 0% focus on how I look and 100% focus on how I feel has helped me times a million! But my body don't lie so I must be doing something right! THANK YOU❤️

My grandma passed away yesterday (1/23/21) so I dedicated this practice for her! It was nice to be able to slow down and remember her and grieve in a different way today so thank you! Each time I repeat this practice, I will think of her. 💜

THIS~ meaning yoga~ feels like a daily vitamin I take for my body. Dedicating this to all the women that need to reminded they are enough. This includes myself.

I discovered this month long series Mid February, and began my journey well after these videos came out. And yet, somehow, every time I press play on the next practice, Adriene somehow gives me exactly what I needed that day
