The breath is a dear friend that you can drop into conversation with anytime, anywhere.

The quality of that conversation will change from moment to moment, day to day, week to week, year to year. The awareness of this ongoing conversation might change your life. It did mine.

Gently dropping your ties to the exterior and taking time for yourself is not selfish.

When you arrive on the mat remember you are there to experience your body, and your breath. You are there to snuggle up to your truth, what feels like home, what feels honest.

Take the time to drop in.

YOU ARE DOING GREAT!

I've really been enjoying everything but am distracted a bit by the promotion of adidas in the videos now. They're not really known for their ethical standards? A long time ago they were even linked to child labour and as far as I can see still don't pay their workers a living wage. I knew there was a partnership but hadn't noticed it much in the videos before. This space is so special, where we're often exploring vulnerability - it doesn't feel good but maybe it's just me : (

Raise your hand if, as your arms and shoulders are shaking uncontrollably, you love it when you here the words, " bring your toes together, knees as wide as your yoga mat..."!

Perfect theme to drop in to day 1 of year two of yoga for me. January 13th, 2020, I began HOME. My intent was 30 days of yoga. Today is day 367 straight days of yoga with Adriene. It's changed my life. Thank you Adriene! <3 Here's to year two! :)

This practice was perfect. I too was low on energy but full of rage about what's been happening and this session really helped. I have been doing Yoga with Adriene for a long time and have seen positive changes but no matter how hard I try, I cannot get my leg to move from downward dog into a lunge without using my hands as an assist. Any suggestions for how to bring your leg up "hands free?"

Feeling sore and fatigued after THE vaccine yesterday...so I almost didn't make it to the mat today. Ended up doing this on my bed with lots of modifications but hey, I made it here! Thanks, Adriene and Benji! :-) <3 Love from a fellow Texan.

This reminds me of another mantra Adriene has given us (she got it from her mother I believe?) "The universe is for me. And so is everything else". Dropping into my breath makes me feel that truth. Thank you!
