I have been practicing FWFG with Adriene for 9 years & I've just found something new in Bridge pose! Tugging your heels back towards your hips - its a game changer for your glutes! How have I missed this for so long??

Added this to my faves. I was recently diagnosed with low bone density in my hips and lower back, so will be seeking out more of these types of practices. I will try out the recent series targeting osteoporosis and will add more weight bearing exercises. I just wish I had one of those skeleton outfits! Thank you, Adriene + sweet zenny Benji. Namaste and happy weekend to all 🙏♥️🙆🏻‍♀️🫶🌧️🌈

Strayed far off from my once daily yoha practice, stumbled upon this for some teason - yes, reading the weekly love 💗letter- and somehow felt spoken to. Feeadfully tired today bt the sudden afternion gloom after transiting to winter time I realised i had just the extra time needed for this. So proud of myself for that choice! And now I'm, shaking. .!

For those that don’t know the intro and outro are homages to the tv show Stranger Things

I had forgotten about this practice with the Stranger Things style titles giving me a giggle (“and Creaky Old Floor”). But the practice in itself is wonderful. It’s in my favourites now !

I felt this practice in my bones. Hands-free and yet, so effective. Learning from other members’ journeys, I am mindful to keep my bones/muscles/joints healthy. Moving from a place of connect, engaging core muscles, maintaining proper alignment and flowing with intention - this session gives a fun, light yet informative cues we have to keep in mind as we practice - and even carry ourselves off the mat. Staying true, knowing when to back off and shift and adjust - and what to improve upon - find ease. Thanks for reminding us to be mindful. I aim to be strong, flexible and sturdy through the years by paying attention to bone health now. Listening to my body and focusing on sensations and connections. Moving as one unit. Marrying balance and ease. A gem of a practice! Take good care everyone! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I am sure I enjoyed this last time I practiced it but today, the whole of the section near the start in the deep squat was torture! Fibro made all of my muscles suddenly feel like they were full of lactic acid , and my right SIJ was screaming with pain 😢 After my Denervation proceedure, I had hoped that my SIJ wouldnt be so troublesome in squats, but I guess my genral pain tolerance today was low 🤷🏽 The rest of the practice was much more enjoyable, with far less Fibromyalgia flares or SIJ irritation. Like everyone else, I loved the fun and quirky Halloween/ Stranger Things and especially the skeleton suit! Each time Adriene referenced an action relating to the bones, i kept looking at the ones on her suit and picturing the actions more easily than ever! 🩻🦴 Hopefully next time I practice this 'little ditty' as Adriene might say, I will hope for less pain in the prolonged swuat section.🧑🏽🙏🏽 At least I took breaks and went back into it when I could. 🦵🏽✊🏽💪🏽🥵🥲Sorry if there are lots of typos, I am quite tired. 🥱😵😅😘
