Who wants to snuggle? (Besides Benji.) Bring an extra blanket or towel and a pillow to the mat today for this restorative practice. Wear something extra comfy! Lay that extra blanket down if you like, and let’s snuggle up to the sensation and rhythm of the breath in today’s gentle floor practice.

Today’s practice is nice and slow and low to the ground. Medicine for the legs, the hips, the torso, and the spine. But also hopefully some feel good medicine for thine heart too.

Don’t miss it. Get on the mat today.

Note: If you don’t have any of these extra props, don’t worry, just come as you are and it will still be really snuggly.

Let me know how this practice goes for you in the comment section down below!

I came to this practice with unwanted anxious thoughts. As I went through the movements and breath, I tried to notice it, accept it, speak against the lies, and let it go. Then about halfway through, when we started the Happy Baby poses, it felt like all the anxiety and nervousness had left my mind... but entered my body! My thoughts were more truthful and calm, but my heart and my limbs felt so restless and unsettled. Has anyone else experienced something like that? It was like my body absorbed my thoughts... And now I'm telling my body, "You don't need to hold onto those either, legs, arms, chest!"

Also, if you have experienced something similar... what should I do next? I've been dealing with shallow breathing (sometimes painfully so) for about 5 years now, and I think it's from repressed anxiety I didn't know I was dealing with until about 3 years ago. And... I'm sure it's all connected somehow!

I'm confused...is day 8 for Friday or Saturday? My calendar says Day 8 is Friday and that I skipped Day 7?

This practice was exactly what I needed to interrupt my doom scrolling. It helped center me and I will use it to get to a more productive place mentally today

Did this practice after a nice bath, reading my book (I capture the castle) and listening to relaxing piano music- perfect!

Loved it. Anyone else always wearing woollen socks up until downward dog? 😄 I was so happy to be able to keep them on throughout this whole yummy session, so snuggly 😊

I think my dogs have finally started to pay attention to Benji's approach to yoga; one stayed on the dog bed the whole time while the other stole my blanket! Which means this was perfect! 🥰

So lovely! So much wisdom in this practice!!! I definitely need to lean into the role of the observer! Always working on my reactions! Thank you for this opportunity to slow down and just be with my breath! Feeling grateful!🙏🏻🩷🧘🏼‍♀️🙌
