Today is about celebrating the physical, mental and emotional conditioning you have cultivated and experienced thus far.

By now you may have noticed the ways in which some of the poses are starting to feel different. There are days where your body is tired. Those days will exist and it is on those days we ask the mind to focus and be strong. On other days you will notice poses that were once unstable and shall we say humbling - are now sturdier, engaged with a greater sense of ease. The body feels stronger.

The strength may also come from having the courage to know when to rest. This is when our emotional state takes priority and is considered.

It is important to remember the strength comes from showing up. Not from any one singular approach but from a commitment to cultivate a regular or daily practice of centering.

Let me know how you are feeling in the comment section below!

Woke up with a bit of a fever and a sore throat today. Allowing myself time and space to rest has been a difficulty for many years and it is still a work in progress. Some years ago I might have pushed through this practice as it is but instead I brought a blanket and a pillow to class and did some soft easy movement, took many deep breaths and even massaged my own feet, a sweet little gesture I learned from Adriene years ago. Safe to say, this part of today's email resonated with me: "The strength may also come from having the courage to know when to rest". Instead of getting frustrated I'm choosing to focus on simply allowing and letting my body do it's miraculous magic of healing itself. Thought I'd share in case someone else is in the same situation. So honoured to be on this journey with you all. :)

Thank you Adriene for another delightful practice! Loved this! I find that interspersing short bursts of strengthening practices with longer or full length sessions has given me my strength/grace/stability back without any aches and pains. Indeed, slowing down (in all ways possible/conceivable/permissible) and checking in with the inner self rather than rushing through faster/harder and more intense workouts work (yep!) best for me. Spacious mind. Stronger/leaner/more flexible/more graceful body moving and engaging from the Center is so rewarding and gratifying. Breath reigns supreme, thanks again Adriene! Giddy with gratitude, I luxuriated in a 5-min. loving-kindness message to everyone practicing. May we all thrive well on and off the mat! Badass joy! Adriene (again!) and FWFG team, in every respectful way and form the word evokes - coming from my core/center, with a heart overflowing with gratitude and love, in all humility: Namaste ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

My grandma passed away on the night before last. I am so grateful to have yoga daily to support me through this time. Yesterday was perfect as I just heard the news and my body could only move very slowly, and today was perfect in its own way too, it helped me connect to the strength I desperately need right now ❤️ Thank you so so much for this month, I can’t express with words how much it helps ❤️

OMG! Forearm planks are way harder than regular planks, I think.

In the beginning I was going well but core trainings are never my favorite, I tried and sometimes did child pose or down dog instead, that worked out fine so thank you again for this todays practice🥰🙏🪷

On the morning that I did this practice, I woke up and asked the Universe for strength. I almost cried when I saw the title of the daily practice on the screen. Instead, I laughed and knew that I was exactly where I needed to be.Then, Adriene kicked my center"s butt! 🤣🙏 Namaste
