This full length yoga practice provides you the foundation for a healthy tapas, or discipline, practice to serve you both on and off the mat.

Lean in and find your focus. It is the heated times that shape and mold us too, you know.

I'm beginning a new relationship and the thing I chose to be more disciplined in is staying true to myself and taking care of myself and showing up for my own needs and not losing myself as I spend more time with this person. <3

If you’re hesitating because of the title, jump in and join us! Discipline is not just strength and endurance in this one, but in stillness and letting go, too. AND, after 2 years of regular practice, and 8 months of daily, I flew in crow for a whole 10 seconds! Yay! So many lovely ingredients in this one. Goes fast and leaves you feeling powerful and peaceful. Thank you, Adriene and team for including it this month! ❤️🙏

Didn’t see that crow practice coming at the end… But loved it! With your instructions, I managed to get through. All sweaty now, but so ready for my day! 😃😅🤗

I am on a mission to get my life in order! It has been a long winter of covid restrictions and terrible habits snuck in. Just had annual lab work done in prep for appt---not happy with my hA1c! Mildly elevated. Never in my life has this happened. So am getting off the couch, throwing away the processed foods and snacks, and going to up the exercise. I saw the title of this session and said yup, let's go Adriene. Loved this session. The ending made me laugh out loud. You are such a great teacher and inspiration. Thank you Adriene. See you tomorrow.

I wasn't really feeling like a longer practice today, but it was perfect. I stayed focused, and the time went by. I enjoyed every bit. thank you. Yoga definitely gives us a respite from all this craziness... and grounds us. I think too much of the news is trying to send us all into a panic and that is not healthy . love to everyone... keep safe and healthy. 🙏🏼❤️

“It’s the heated times that shape us and mold us too, you know.” Great takeaway! Thanks Adriene, that’s so true! And for putting the ease (through all the carefully crafted contents here) into welcoming those times off the mat to have the grace to observe how the practices transcend the mat and manifest into the everyday! Finding what feels good! Or the good coming to me/us! All the time. It’s amazing!

This practice starts seated with a really nice breath-mind connections. This to me is a mindful even meditative session. Great listening tool! Awesome body scans. Looking inwards, engaging the PNS, aligning the spine, grounding, centering - inviting the best within to come to practice in the physical aspect. The discipline to show up all the time. To shift the approach when the muscles need to take a rest :) but still come to practice. I love how this practice evolved from seated to cat-cow then child’s pose to forward fold then tadasana. Or plank to ragdoll then tadasana. It’s so good! Found something delightful in warrior I. That hip opener and the subtle shift, great ease and release. Nice cobra and updog. Resting in downward facing dog! Love eagle arms and legs! Short lizard hold. Yummy King pigeon. Froggy so still. And crow! It’s great full class for the whole being! I feel so seen, held, supported and loved here, that and those highly descriptive cues has allowed me to grow with integrity and still authentically me! Thanks Adriene.

The calendar practices, the way that they build up from one to the next has really, truly helped me along in building a strong foundation, safely! My body can take on the heat, because of how the FWFG team members have lovingly curated these practices together, a huge shoutout for all the love and care. A big “I love you back!” All your hard work are collectively landing well within and externally rewarding me and others too. Good vibes, good energies - allow for good graces to flow back and then out again, it’s a great cycle. I cherish and tend to. Always. Because we all need it. May we all have the discipline (the tapas) to show up even when things are going well. So we are able to manage the heated moments more with ease. May we see that things pass, good or bad, and the discipline to hold ourselves accountable for our own lives will always be what keeps us afloat in crow :) I love you Adriene, all in Austin and everyone else practicing and most especially those who don’t. Be well. Peace, Light and Love to my fellow FWFG community. 💜 08/14/24

I hesitated to chose this practice today but then decided to do it in honour of our dear cat George, who left us this week after 18 years. It was the first time back on the mat since he went for his last sleep and so how wonderful to find that shortly into the practice we bowed to all our lost friends. How is that the curators of the monthly calendars so often seem to anticipate just what we are going to need? This made me shed some tears but was a lovely, cathartic moment.🐾🐾

My heart is reeling from all the disasters this week and I really didn't think I could focus on yoga today. But it was just what I needed. Thank you for the clear instructions and beautiful, down to earth energy. I am loving this series.

So good and the fact I did it on the beach made it just the best. 🙏🏽
