A lovely work out and such joy when I finally got my head to the earth in wide-legged forward fold! Miracle! It only took 8 years, folks 😅 Truly grateful, thanks Adriene 🌸🙏

I’d love to see a 7-day pilates/yoga series! I come back to this practice so often. 🥰

Wow! That was the best! It hit most of the body parts and I liked the core emphasis. Most especially, I liked the length of the video ... longer than any of the recent 30-day series. Whoop! Whoop! The workout was Namaste-less (and I miss the Namaste), but I think the recent 30-day Namaste-less series was being filmed at the same time. I like that the Namaste has been revived again. I did say it myself during the 30 days, but I felt a little hollow. When you say it, too, the circle is completed between you, me and everyone else doing the work out and it feels good. More workouts like this, please! Creative energy -- yaay!

An interesting session. I enjoyed it although it was a bit beyond my arthritic hip early on. (I am having a hip replacement op in 3 weeks time so it is pretty limited in its range of movement). I think the yoga/pilates fusion is a great idea and look forward to lots more sessions to try when, after my op, I am allowed to resume my regular yoga practice.

Definitely not for me. I love yoga and I occasionally throw in a Pilates-inspired core practice. But this fusion practice felt off balance to me. The yoga elements like the warrior-side angle flow felt disconnected to me, I noticed myself getting annoyed although I absolutely love this sequence in a regular yoga practice. The Pilates side of the video didn’t do it for me either. I didn’t find the practice particularly challenging, lots of the short core practices on FWFG are more effective. I came to this with an open mind but I definetely won’t do it again. Sorry to say it, there seem to be many others who enjoyed it.

this is great- I don’t comment as a rule, but the addition of some pilates I hope becomes a regular feature- maybe 2-3 x a week with the monthly themes. If nothingelse, it adds some variety. Also- what happened to Namaste-not lost to some revolting soul killing woke excess, I hope

That was fantastic. It's now 2 months since my hip replacement op. All now manageable. Such a good combination of movements. I feel great afterwards.

I tried it but just 10 minutes in had to stop because my hip (the side that was on the mat) was so sore! Put a blanket under it but that didn't help. It's not sore on the inside but just the pressure on the mat. Back to yoga but I will try other ones that might come up.

I did this practice a couple of times and noticed the improvements each time. E.g. the opening and closing shell-like position started off being rather challenging for me and then became just a good work-out. It reminded me of how I loved my BodyBalance classes at my local gym in pre-Covid times. These were 45 min yoga-based classes with Pilates and Tai Chi.
