Yoga for Self Respect is an opportunity for you to dial inward, connect, and do something nice for your whole self. Find length in the spine, depth of breath, and remember - you are worth it.

We are at our best and can be of service to others when we are in alignment with who we truly are. Relieve your stress. Focus on what matters most. Enjoy!

It was such a yummy practice. And something really cute lead me to it. Today is Saturday and I had decided to skip (very unusual for me but hey!) or do yoga later and had already my breakfast ready when my puppy looked at me and grabbed her “yoga” toy. Every morning we do yoga together (she just plays with her toy on the mat next to me, she’s a 11 month old miniature dachshund so not quite Benji size 😅🐾) and she obviously didn’t want to skip it today. I couldn’t resist and got changed into my yoga outfit and chose the video of the day on the calendar. It was perfect and I felt so much love and joy next to my fur baby.

Now she’s fast asleep and I’m going to enjoy my breakfast even more !

Have a beautiful day everyone. Namaste 🙏🏻💗🐾

Thank you for this month. I need to learn how to respect and love myself again. The past few years have been hard, just in general and personally, with my health issues. My husband and his health issues. This is a good yoga calendar month for what I am going through at the moment. I usually don't comment but I need a little love this time💕.

I sat down on the mat feeling terrible because my country (TR) is fighting against wildfires and cannot (or as some claims “won’t”) control them. I could hardly focus on the practise until I heard Adrienne say “vulnerable…deep breaths..strong emotions” Find what matters most! Time to heal the soil. Thank you all 🌸 Please pray for the countries battling with wildfires. Namaste 🙏

I had to restart this video about 4 times because i have a 6 week old baby who was not happy. It took everything in me not to get frustrated. I was finally able to complete the practice by 8pm.

Find it hard to "Be myself" sometimes. Not sure who that person is. So glad to have YWA to guide me inwards ❤️

As is so often the case this practice was just what I needed today. I have been dealing with an addicted child and feeling disrespected. Thank you so much for being there to remind me that I matter. Peace and love to everyone struggling today

Just before I did this practice I’d been journaling about being grateful to my amazing body ! I’m 9 and 3/4 years post stem cell transplant for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, I have to remind myself just how far I’ve come every so often…

Today this practice felt it was meant to be , I showed my gratefulness to my body with gentle mindful movements 🙏🏻

Thank you Adriene and team , you rock 💕

Ps loved the smell your armpit remark too, made me laugh out loud 😂

Obviously Adriene can see into my head. 😉I have a new job- 6 weeks in now- and my new manager is not big on the respect thing. Undermining me and pointing out every little error (including emails - yes, she monitors my emails) and I feel under constant surveillance. It’s getting me down. However, I realise with this reminder, that I need to seek respect from the inside and gently ask that I am given a bit of space to develop.

Or quit.

Happy Tuesday Kularoos. Xx

So many things to say — but mostly, I love it when Adriene sings. Here’s my doggie practicing with me. 🙏🏼
