Yoga For FOMO: Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) can be emotionally crippling and a real bummer. Nobody wants to feel left out. We can spend the evening staring into our phones wishing we were somewhere else, OR we can create our own fun by learning the art of arm balances!

You can learn to fly in the comfort of your own home with Bakasana: Crow pose. Learn the foundations of arm balance through the strength and power of chaturanga.

Practice crow on your own, first lifting one leg, then another and eventually both legs come off the ground. You can even learn to jump back from Bakasana to chaturanga, and who cares if you belly flop. It is fun and challenging and time will fly by.

This practice is dedicated to breakthrough, teamwork, forgiveness, and letting go!

Well, it happened. I found myself saying outloud simply "I can't do that." No judgement. Just...facts 🤣 (its not even crow- it was the first version of chataranga practice). But you know what? Thats not the point. I tried anyway (the second option worked much better) and I had fun pretending to be a bird. The point (IMO) is the pep talk given from the illustrious Bill Murray himself- it doesn't matter.

I realized- if I have FOMO either I CAN do it...or maybe I dont actually want what I think im missing out on? Either way- it doesn't matter! ❤️

Really? to start a yoga practice with the words— “Make people Jealous.”

Yoga teaches self acceptance, pretty much the opposite of jealousy. Just a turn of a phrase, but not a good tone for yoga.

No jealousy, Enjoyment.

Thank you Marnie and Adriene. Note to self: after two weeks you can not do this - I can't - but it was kind of fun to first hunt for a make-do block (a box of Pepsi...) and almost faceplant... but I will get there, next year at this time. <3 you guys are awesome.

I did not even get close to crow pose, but I had a lot of fun trying.🤣

I'll definitely return to this--thank you! I saw Meatballs in the movies as a young teen😆! Love that you mentioned it (I loved it at the time).

My second visit with this practice this week of our Inner Harmony challenge! And it's a Saturday night and all! I took my time and paused the video a few times and could see some minor improvement. Trying this after Marnie's cultivating agency practice did help too! ✌️🥰😅🎉💪💥👏

It may have one been a second here and a second there but I got lift off on each foot. I love Marnie's energy. She just makes me feel so comfortable and just ready to be perfectly imperfect just the way I am. 💪🧘♀️💗
