In this 20 minute practice, Marnie teaches you how to identify and strengthen your stabilizer muscles like the transversus abdominus, the psoas, and the multifidus. She uses subtle yet strong movements to access those deep, stabilizer muscles that lie close to the bones to encourage a healthy spine and stable core. Feel the earth support your spine in this stimulating floor practice.

Two blankets or a pillow are used in this video.

Thank you so much Marnie! I loved this and will favorite it so I can find it again easily. I was just diagnosed with severe osteoperosis of which I am in denial! I have been doing EVERYTHING right for years! UGH! But, I'm determined to build more muscle around my bones to help build back some bone mass. And yes, I'm taking elemental calcium along with other suppliments plus a great and varied diet.

Please keep offering us your wisdom. Much love to all at FWFG

😘💖😍 Robin

I loved this! Went with this instead of the calendar chair yoga mostly b/c of not having conveniently located chairs without arms😊 But I really liked the cross body movements here. I know that using opposite limbs helps stimulate both sides of the brain and can be great for combatting fatigue. I've had 2 weeks of very late nights as I wind down to my last 2.5 weeks of graduate school and end this leg of my 7 year academic journey & career change at 55. To say I'm fatigued is a gross understatement. I am so glad I chose this practice! 💙💛🙏💗
