Does anyone else find it painful to put your body weight on your toes?!

TODAY’S HAIKU: let your breath move you - focus on the sensation - let it be playful 💗

Somehow I thought this was going to be "yoga for after a swim" so I was expecting it to be gentle and stretchy - in fact it's more like "yoga to strengthen your arms and open your shoulders before a swim"! 😂 So quite strenuous on the arms and wrists, but I must say good to open the shoulders. Yoga for When You're Sore is my go to practice for after a swim 😊

Very good practice, not just for swimmers. Focus is on stretching out the shoulders/ pectorals and stabilising around the core, using puppy pose, sphinx, planks, up dogs, down dogs, locust and some good stretches for the shoulder girdle. It’s short, but thorough, maybe a bit short on leg stretches - but that’s just my body.

This could also be titled Yoga for Back and Shoulders, loved it, no swimming experience required!

Glorious, found my way to this practice to help with surfing. Great practice to help build paddle power.
