In recent weeks I had difficulty finding the mat, yesterday I tried but it didn't work. My thoughts and time go to the tens of thousands of victims and many thousands of demonstrations around the world for peace and against the madness of the war and genocide in Gaza. Vote aggressors out wherever you are. "Find the truth". In recent weeks, one university after another was occupied in Europe. This also applies to the Radbout University in Nijmegen, nearby. Of course I try to help where I can. As if we don't have enough problems with our climate. What is wrong with society. This Depression yoga brought me back to the mat, I see yesterday was Meditation for Humility. I'm going to do that now. If my grandparents had looked away during the Second World War, they would have spent their lives in shame after the war. Fortunately, they did not do that and, risking their own lives, they worked hard in the resistance and, among other things, helped people find a safe escape. Stop war everywhere.

I didn't feel depressed today, but I remember when I did, I shied away from this practice as I didn't know what to expect -- so here's a little note to self and anyone who might feel unsure: we start on our backs with a long reclined cobbler's and a hug, then roll up to seated for some twists and a mantra, then move through a squat to forward fold to standing, then head for a wide-legged fold and finish in mountain with a little gratitude practice -- the reminder of what I'm grateful for made me smile, so I think it's a good practice to regain a sense of confidence 🙏

A yoga series for depression would be awesome! I'd love a series for anxiety or PTSD as well 😃

Started this practice feeling properly down in the dumps. Ended it with a big soppy smile on face. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the UK and beyond, especially those having a hard time. And love to all those missing mums no longer with us ❤️

“The universe is for me, and so is everything else.” Why does that phrase bring me to tears?

Cried my way through this one, but feel so cleansed now. Its so surreal how you can feel the emotion/energy in you and being released x

Thanks. I got so depressed with what is happening to people in Ukraine. I guess I should repeat this video and do something.
