I never write on here, but this practice stirred something in me. I came to the mat feeling like life was forcing me to do things i didnt want when all i want was for things to stay the same. Yet life is forcing me to make choices. I had a whole list of things in my head that i didnt want to do when i sat down on the mat. Then adriene said “you dont have to do anything you don’t want to”. And i started crying. That has never happened to me before while practicing yoga, and i have been practicing for years. I have never felt an emotional release like that in any practice before. It was just the exact words i neeeded to hear. Thank you Adriene and thank you YWA community. I love you all ❤️

This was one of my all time favorites! Can I just say I love this app! I'm grateful for all the different options, instructors, wisdom... it has changed my lfe.

Thank you. And you too, of course, Benji!

And just a note, yes, I know videos transition from one to the next, so if you want to stay in namaste you need to press pause, the doesn't show which videos I've done, and namaste isn't said at the end of the new practices, (though when I need to hear namaste, I say namaste,) but I find the complaining in the comments, addressed as feedback, kind of a downer. So many things to celebrate within this community and so grateful to be a part of it.

I love this practice, but … I’m wondering if anyone else struggles with their feet and ankles going all “pins and needles” on them during long periods of staying cross legged?

I’ve been practicing for at least six years? Maybe longer? So it’s not an issue of being a beginner. But anytime a practice has more than a few minutes of a sustained cross-legged position my feet and ankles “fall asleep” and I need to adjust my position. It’s not a big deal. Just wondering what’s wrong with me and if anyone else has this experience.

🤍oh so I found myself crying on the mat like a baby after this.I am after really hard break up with glimpses of emotionaly abusive relationship (which is really hard for me to swallow).I am practising yoga for years but for few months I am literally forcing myself to go on a mat.Sometimes I just sit and stare .But this lesson is a true gift!Thank you🤍

I had a difficult time with the hugs. I lost my mother earlier this year, and it will be her birthday soon. So I was reminded of her hugs when I held myself.

Thank you as always, Adriene. This comment might get buried, but I would caution anyone with tendency for vertigo not to take the seated twists too fast, because that really triggered it for me.

Lovely practice but does anyone else feel nauseous at the elbows bent rapid twisting move? Had to stop 1/2 way on that one. Otherwise, lovely stretch and twist to all parts of the body!

Does anyone have any good ideas where to buy quality leggings but not too pricey? Thanks. Loved this practice too!
