Developing a Journaling Practice for Whole Living

Gratitude has the power to transform our days and lift us up. Try beginning or ending your day focused on gratitude and watch the impact it has.

This week for our WRITE practice we are focusing on Gratitude journaling. I share a prompt for you in this video. For the next week, jot down the prompt in the video then list five things. You decide if you do it at the start or the end of your day. Maybe try a week at the start of the day and a week at the end of the day and see what comes out of that.

Through the ups and downs in life, gratitude can be that touchpoint that keeps us grounded and present. Some days it may feel like there is nothing to be grateful for, but perhaps those are the days we need to connect with gratitude the most.

Gratitude invites us to release the past and future and instead be fully present in this moment.

If you feel like sharing your gratitude journal with this FWFG community this week, I would invite you to stop by for a quick check-in each day and leave your five things in the comments below. Gratitude begets gratitude and when we surround ourselves with others who are grateful, it is easier to be grateful.

With love,

Sarah
