It was a jolt to see my note about my dog’s passing at the top of the comments! I remember that practice so clearly, crying and letting go. How the movement and breath helped loosen the knot in my heart.

This morning, the pup who came into our lives this summer settled down by my mat for a few sweet moments (and a belly rub), then was ready to go play. It reminded me, along with this nourishing flow, that life keeps moving, keeps changing, through grief and goodbyes and joy and new beginnings. It’s a lesson I’ve learned before, but needed the reminder today. THANK YOU for including this lovely practice in the November 2025 calendar. ❤️

Wow! Just did this in the ICU fully clothed with walking shoes on! It stretched me and got me ready for the day. Husband waiting to be transported to a bigger hospital for two stents today. Thank you, Adriene and community!

Feeling heartbroken after saying goodbye to our sweet dog a couple days ago, who was also my yoga buddy. Seeing benji lie down (as he always does, like my pup did) wrecked me a bit. I cried through the whole practice (still at it), but it also felt like a way to say goodbye. Wonderful practice for connecting to however you’re feeling and working to let go. Thankful for this place i can always let down my guard. The tension ive been holding since he passed is finally easing. ❤️🙏❤️

Have to admit, this was hard for me. I don’t know if it’s bc I’ve been focusing more on yin practices or if it’s after effects of my shingles vaccine 💉, but was not feeling very strong. Guess I have to keep working on it + this was a good reminder of that. Thank you, Adriene + sweetest Benji. Namaste from a rainy morning in New England 🙏💖🙃🌧️🙆🏻‍♀️🫶

Loved this practice. Inversions (for me) facilitate deeper, sustained and more victorious breathing. Nice expansive breathing and strengthening stretches that reaches to the inner recesses to power me through my day! This has Nice spinal flexions too. Love downward facing dogs and chaturanga. Great flows. Thanks for everything that you do and all that you are Adriene. Sending everyone lots of loving kindness. May we all be united to all that we are, be well and thrive with ease. Great practice to close the month of November. 11/30/2023 🩷🩷🩷
