<p>This 15 min supplementary practice can be done with another session in The Shanti Series as a warm up, or, do on its own with the option to repeat for more.</p><p><br></p><p>Your breath is a key component as we target the muscles of your abdominal wall and develop long lean muscles. This session builds core through calm, simple, and repetitive movements synced to your breath. On your inhale, soften and expand and on your exhale, firm and contract. Keep (obsess over!) length in the spine the whole time - don't forget your neck is an extension of the spine.</p><p><br></p><p>Generate power without stressing the nervous system. This practice will build a strong core while leaving the mind centered and calm. Let's get to it!</p><p><br></p><p>Namaste, </p><p>Adriene</p>

Been looking for a practice to safely and mindfully strengthen my weakened abdominal wall. I've got post pregnancy ab separation and hernias so the option to easily adapt and dial down a pose is important and exactly what the pace and the nature of this practice offers. Straight to my favourites, thank you this is going to be valuable to my rehabilitation. Namaste 🙏

I wanted to do a core practice but I was cold and getting sleepy, then I found this! New favourite for sure, lighting that fire but keeping it calm. Absolutely love this.
