In this session, we will invite attention inward, tending to the mind and body in such a way that we may activate and engage the parasympathetic nervous system. When we are able to do that, we invite in a beautiful opportunity to both rest and digest after a long day.

Through self-massage and breath technique, we will tend to our physical, mental, and emotional well-being to promote total equilibrium, as well as improved digestion and sleep.

I recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and bring a blanket or large towel to sit on.

Invite your inner world to REST.

I Can't Really Explain How Much This Was Needed. I Lost A Baby 10 Days Ago And Have Been Fearing Getting Back Into Yoga, The Circular Abdomen Movements Were What I Needed To Reconnect With Myself And The Instruction For Conscious Rest Was So Powerful. This Practice Has Changed My Day. X

So beautiful practice! I'm quite annoyed though that ever since the application has been revamped, another video starts automatically after the one I've just completed. So whether I've fallen asleep or am in a full relaxation, it is completely disturbing when another yoga video starts loudly. It is truly annoying, anyone has suggestions? And also does Adriene or the team read these comments because I've never seen any replies or reactions here on their behalf...

Bad brain day. It was hard to stay with my breath and let myself relax. On days like this, I just tell myself at least I showed up and tried. Sometimes that truly is the best we can do.

This series and particularly this practice is the backbone of my panic management. I write this at 3am stepping away from my bed in hopes that the associations of this practice will help push my brain away from PTSD spirals and into rest. Thank you xx
