<p>I did this after yoga rinse and felt some emotion rise up immediately. My son took his own life 3 months ago. I am going through the motions of my days but haven’t been feeling to much joy. Today’s practice allowed me to sit with my sadness and acknowledge it. I could have sat and listened to the music at the end of the video for a very long time. YWA has been the gift I give myself everyday. Adriene and Benji always make me smile. Thank you Adriene and FWFG for all that you do.🙏</p>

<p>Delightful! Releasing whatever is limiting oneself is gifting oneself the freedom to just be! Allowing each moment to unfold with every breath, a great reminder to always reunite with what matters most. Releasing our hold on everything, giving ourselves the space to exist with ease, joyful! This feels like a Christmas morning. Or a day already brimming with limitless possibilities. Thanks Adriene, FWFG team for including guided meditations like these in this month’s calendar. I am grateful that you all took the efforts to help me build my practice in the way that aligns me best. Perfect for my 68th birthday! I am moving forward this year in a "rebirth" mode. Looking to acknowledge my creativity and all the things i love doing that have been put on the back burner for the past 20 or so years while I worked a stressful job. Getting ready to retire in a year or so and looking to bring all those things I love back--can't wait to have more time for family, friends, and soul-satisfying endeavors. Thank you for this meditation--it was perfect for my mindset today. Namaste and lots of love.

I so ouch like this calendar. I facilitate MBSR substance disorders groups and with private clients. I’ve been meditating almost daily for 48 years. A word of encouragement to beginners: when noticing the mind being distracted that is also Mindfulness. Today, as I was practicing this beautiful meditation, I found myself smiling at my mind: “oh this is redundant (when hearing inhale in Exhale out) inhale means in. Just like when people say ATM MACHINE”. Oh my mind…. Thankful for self-compassion and kindness to bring it back to the breath. And now back to facilitating meditation for gratefulness
