This is a mental health wellness practice. Full stop. So while we utilize familiar asana, allow yourself to focus on sensation more than what you think the poses should look like. This might be particularly challenging not to the beginner but to an experienced yogi who perhaps has been practicing asana in the Western world for many years. Remember, the focus on this series is on the prana body. The energetic aspects that help make up who we are. Have you ever met someone that just had “good energy” or have you ever been around someone who had “bad energy” maybe? I am not here to call one thing good or bad but simply to point out that we often respond to energy because it can affect how we feel. From the yoga perspective we are all all connected through this life force, and so tending to our own energy through practice does inevitably have a ripple effect.

This mindful practice is 23 min and packed with beneficial moves for the spine, a strong stable center, healthy digestion, and yummy support for the hamstrings and low back.

I hope you enjoy your time on the mat. Thank you for showing up!

Love,

Adriene

Some of us are much more Connected to other people‘s energies than one thinks!!!

I am a 58 year-old gentleman who’s been very confused his whole life because when I walk in the room, I get overwhelmed by everybody’s energy and I break down crying 🤷‍♀️

In May of 2023 I went to see my first therapist 😊

And she had me reached out to a couple more therapist 😉so three out of four therapist came back, diagnosing me with HSP😇

Such relief knowing this 🥰

And I learned that there’s not a thing wrong with me. I’m just overly sensitive. There’s nothing wrong with me It is a trait.

I need to learn how to live with.

I can’t thank you enough for this session😭😭🙏🙏

Namaste 🙏

I love this series so far and the focus on the energetic body. The northern lights seems to agree, we had an amazing one here in Finland yesterday (I've never seen one so strong here before). Aurora Borealis giving new year's greetings and setting the tone for 2025 💫🌌💚

Lovely. I gifted myself some precious minutes to allow the precious (more than twice even, it’s priceless 😁) nutrients of the practice to seep in, course its way through the innermost recesses of my being. I love the Prana series. I considered it a gift of loving support from all of you! It’s a balm to the whole being. An affirmation of your dedication to what we have here and your commitment to FWFG.

I relished this revisit to Prana - Day 2. I love sitting in stillness and tapping into my breath as I scan my container and notice how I feel. Allowing the breath to flow through my mind, my body and my heart. Then it grows from there. Marrying it with those expansive (uplifting) movements as if opening up to the elements and then gathering energy from it towards my heart, it just brings forth sensation of quiet solitude. I love that so much! Prana was so moving for me. Hope in action! How you guided us all throughout each poses here has something special laced into each cues…you’re elevating even more Adriene, and it’s connecting to something deeper within me. I have to share! This session feels like flowing through water, unobstructed. Kristalina Georgiana compared global trade with water, in a way that: water goes around any obstacle that is put upon it…something like that, (it’s not verbatim). This session feels like that. A coming through for me on this fine morning. I can find my way through. Marrying breath to meditative movements birthed something precious (yet again!) within me. We are all connected. That fills me up with inner joy. In savasana, I felt very subtle energy in my midback…as if embers are glowing…much like when I opened my gaze up in cobra…and listening to the inner feedbacks…something is brewing…the simple actions…is connecting to something deeper. And it feels so good! Thanks Adriene for yet another compelling reason to show up at the crack of dawn. You never disappoint. You’re not perfect, your humanity is on full display and that makes it all even more precious. Redundancy is my new normal. 💜 And this series as with all the others and the mobility sessions are evolving into something higher…and all landing ever so neatly into place…strengthening the foundations…refining…saving some for myself ;). The journey continues. I feel so stable this morning, thanks for everything Benji - for exemplifying grace and unconditional love. That’s my takeaway, be more like Benji. Peace. Light. Love. To all. 💛💚🩵💙💜💙🩵💚 10/15/25

I used to feel proud of myself whenever I could do a more challenging pose, but 10 years later, I'm proud of myself for being able to make modifications on the fly to do what feels right in my body... ex: 3-legged dog to knee to nose isn't something I always have the strength and energy for, and it works just as well on all fours during those times. All thanks to Adriene and her encouragement to find what feels good 🌈

Thank you for this deeply centering practice. My nervous system is already loving this series. The pace and cues and progressions are spot on and I am so appreciative of how a quieter but strong and simple practice can be absolutely transformative. I just might have to loop this series all of January. ☺️ namaste.
