Join Jenn for this 23-min practice to move stress out of the body. Step three of the Viasomatic Method™ is about releasing what your body’s been holding on to by completing the stress cycle. Our yoga mat doesn’t need to be a place to escape life’s challenges, but one where we learn to move through them. In this practice, we’ll gently bring to mind small stressors (think everyday challenges like running late or a tense conversation) and guide that built-up energy out. You might feel emotions rise like tears, frustration, or even laughter. You might notice shaking, restlessness, or a wave of relief. This is your body’s way of finding balance. This practice will help you release stress energy and rediscover inner steadiness.

**If you’re navigating trauma, it’s best to work with a nervous system coach or focus on the Regulate or Rewire practice until your resilience grows.

You may like a blanket for this practice.

Wonderful. This is my last practice prior to spinal surgery this afternoon. Will be off the mat for four week recovery. This was a fantastic experience to release some anxiety and get into a good emotional space for the surgery. See you all back here in a month!

Thank you Jen! I couldn’t stop yawning during the whole practice, which I interpret as my body calming down. ❤️

Suggestion: could the three videos on the Viosomatic method be collected somehow on the app? So they are easier to find.

Thank you, dear Jenn. No yoga for the last few days, then I opened the app while still in bed and there you were! It's like all my birthdays wrapped in one! Your practices are an amulet for calm and healing, your kindness and knowledge wrapped around each word, each movement, with love and intention. Please know you made all the difference in my day. Feet on the ground, head in the clouds. Thank you 💛🧘‍♀️💛

My senior dog was diagnosed with a neurological disorder, and the emotional stress of seeing her stumble, fall, shake, can’t see, disoriented is tearing me up. I chose this practice today for the content, and also, Jenn’s voice is so soothing. Yoga is with us through the good and the bad. Our mat is there to catch us when we fall, literally and metaphorically.

Peaceful, simple and calming, thank you! Wondering how I can take this practice into everyday life, when stressful situations arise. What kind of movements would be most helpful and accessible - but still with this calming effect from moving through the stress, when there’s no possibility to do the full practice? I have found myself tapping my chestbone a few times over the past months in mildly stressful situations at work, totally unconscious body movements. Interesting to find that they came up here as well. ☺️

Okay y’all I did this practice close to bed time. That night, I had a dream of myself setting boundaries! It was like this practice helped me release some built up stuff enough that my sleeping brain was like “we can set boundaries and be safe” amazing.

Thanks Jenn!!! I love your practices!

Dear Jenn, I wondered which of your videos you would recommend for someone feeling numb or empty? Are there any here on the app yet you might suggest for that sort of state?

Thank you so much for your work, creating such a healing space, it really helps me connect to myself. ♥️

Thank you so much Jen for this beautiful practice. Would you recommend doing this before bedtime? I often feel like my mind is so full of worry and "busy", Thank you again ❤️

Wow, amazing practice. I have noticed that I like practicing with tapping or with shaking. I am curious if there is a methodology to doing one versus the other in certain situations?
