Grab a blanket, maybe a pillow too.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent;">*If you don’t have any of these things handy and you are just squeezing this in, no worries. The important thing is that you show up for practice.</span></p>

My mom died this morning ... it was not totally unexpected. She was 90 and a little frail and i was with her holding her hand at the end. I did this practise just before i went to bed and i'm convinced it helped me sleep. Thank you so much adriene.... the hugs felt like they were coming from the whole yoga community 😢

Did Anyone Else Have A Profound Awaking During This Practice, Like A Portal Opened To Trapped Emotion? I've Been Emotionally In Practice Before, But Nothing As Extreme As This. I Think I Must Have Been So Relax, And My Mind Quitened, That It Let In Some Stuff My Brain Had Been Hiding

i don't know why, but i found the thought of thousands of women (because lets face it, most of us are women!) resting today in this beautiful, nourishing, self-caring practice immensely moving.

I noticed that many people comment that they look forward to certain “days” - like day 8, or dread others like day 5, etc. I gather there must be a pattern that every 5 is an abs day and every 8 is a rest day. This is my third 30 day journey and I’ve not noticed the pattern. Can someone share? Would be great to know what type of practice is coming up!

I really appreciate the day 8 practices. As my practice has evolved, I’ve noted a tendency to push myself, and I’m actively working on incorporating more rest, acknowledging that yes, I could pull off a longer practice, yes, I do want to build strength, and yes, part of me is craving a long fiery flow (or a deep stretch) and the amazing feeling of having finished it, but what I really need is a day to just rest and patience and find space to take care of myself.

I saved this practice until the very last minute of my day. I knew it would be a great way to shed the day and prepare for bed tonight and it was spot on!
