It is my absolute honor (and with a giddiness) that I introduce you to guest teacher Jenn Wooten - colleague, friend, wonder woman who has studied yoga and the nervous system for over 20 years.

I remember taking class with Jenn many moons ago and just sort of sitting back in a state of awe, witnessing how calm and coolly present she was for the group while simultaneously calibrating everyone’s requests and needs, of which there were many that day. She simultaneously held the space while also giving voice to the people in the room. It was beautiful, and what my personal values in guided practice are all about. I’ve never met anyone who did not get something out of practicing with Jenn. She is beloved by many, including me, and we are so happy to have her on the platform.

A certified yoga therapist and trauma-informed yoga teacher, Jenn is also specifically a certified Viasomatic practitioner with knowledge of polyvagal theory (the neuroscience of the stress response) and its applications to nervous system recovery. Find out how she fell in love with teaching and her favorite daily ritual. Jenn shares some of the profound transformations she has witnessed in her practice combining yoga with evidence-based neurological science.
