What I would appreciate is suggestions on what the best quality mats are. I’ve always bought the cheap ones but since I am practising daily now, I want to invest in a good mat.

This is great. Thank you very much. Can you tell me why do I need the witchhazel?

Unfortunately, tea tree & eucalyptus oil is toxic to cats 😿 Any cat parents have a receipe that they like that is cat friendly??? I was thinking lavender and maybe hint of sweet orange, but those aren’t necessarily deep “cleansing” oils. I know cats don’t like citrus as a scent, but it won’t make them sick and puke-y like tea tree and eucalyptus.

Any suggestions of where to find alcohol free witch hazel? Everything I've seen has alcohol in it, I've been looking (off and on) for close to a year

Well I FINALLY made this today and it is so lovely. My mat is looks so nice and the room smells even nicer. I had trouble locating alcohol free witch hazel in Australia, the major chemist chain down under sells a 100% pure witch hazel but when you read the ingredients there is alcohol listed?!

So, if you are in Melbourne and looking for Witch Hazel, I found My Chemist has a good range, including the Thayers brand that A uses in the video. There's also Healthy Aim Witch Hazel that is bottled in Melb.

I went with an indigenous essential oils mix: Tea Tree Oil & Lemon Myrtle. It seems divinely refreshing and rejuvenating.

Great recipe! Doing this when my current spray runs out. I've had a hard time finding spray bottles that last, so I bought a spray to reuse the bottle with a DIY version 😉

You could use vodka in place of witch hazel
