You don’t need to understand the science of yoga to experience it. And this session will prove it.

In a lot of ways, the journey HOME is about simplifying. Peeling back those parts, those habits, those layers that take away instead of give back. It’s about reuniting with the type of vibration that gives life and connection to your relationship with yourself and to the big picture.

When we take time to notice we can start to pay better attention to the things that nourish.

But don’t forget, “simplifying” and “nourishing” don’t connote easy.

We can build sustainable practices and rituals that serve. This can have a direct effect on how we carry ourselves, energetically, posturally, and in the way you hold space for yourself and for others.

We will also take time to nourish parts of the body that could be a little bit sore from the past few practices.

When we nourish ourselves, we can better serve others.

Please let me know how this session goes for you in the comment section down below.

I had an unexpected emotional reaction after the practice. "Gatillo", my cat, came to me at the end and I hugged him. My thoughts took me to my father, who passed away years ago, and I started crying. Suddenly I was overwhelmed by a feeling of belonging to the YWA community. Gracias.

Damaged knee and lower back here, so won’t try this one again. But that’s okay - plenty of others I can do and revisit, I’ll just mark this one as a skip on my calendar. (No criticism of the practice itself - wish I could do it! Just posting so if anyone else found this to be impossible, they know they’re not alone.)

So true... so Nourishing. And like Adriene said... when we are Nourished we are able to take that with us out into our day and share it with others. What a game changing, life changing practice. Namaste.

Lia took the words out of my mouth- and we were even practicing simultaneously!

That was special. I don’t know what else to say. Probably my favorite practice ever. I cannot wait for the next couple days ❤️

I love all of these practices I am so so calm and centred on the mat then as soon as I get off the mat I am a raging screaming lunatic again 😩

I think I might need to return to this one later. Feeling slugglish and it was hard to focus. I know I liked it, but I couldn't enjoy it this morning. That's what's so great about these- what doesn't work one time will work wonders the next!

Love this one for a swift morning practice that starts slow but slowly increases in intensity. My core is ready for the day after forearm planks and I love doing rocking horse at the end. There’s also some yummy twists and a fair amount of mindful breathwork cues. P.S if you are short on time you can skip about 2 1/2 mins of the start (the video begins with some guided meditation/thought on body awareness, etc.).
