Tight hips and hammies are common, especially for those who sit many hours a day.
Great practice, thank you! 😊 I like using a cat on my belly as a prop on savasana 😂

The last months, I was „going through the motions“ with my Yoga practice, just another thing to tick of on the workout calendar. Today, I wanted a half hour practice. My hammies aren‘t even tight, but I couldn‘t be bothered to search further than the fwfg start page.

Dear Alia! You gave me back that Yoga magic, giggling during the practice (bc of course I totally fell of my blanket after stargazer pose), and even more important: leaving my mat with a smile and a heart full of love. Thank you so much.

Thank you Alia! That was lovely - and Hammock Pose was revelatory. A beautiful gift.

See you soon!

For anyone that doesn't have a strap like me, I was able to do this practice with a kitchen/ bathroom hand towel. I had to improvise a bit for hammock pose - but it just added a little core burn to the end of my practice which I love. I repeated the sequence at the beginning (around 5 min mark) but made it a static hold instead of a flow.

I've never tried a rollup blanket right near my bum and now I can't imagine Shavasana any other way!! Yum! Thanks Alia!!

What a beautiful practice. Hammock was a revelation (and also a trust exercise..."Really, Alia? REALLY? Are you sure this will work?").....just heavenly. Thank you.

I enjoyed that, thank you Alia - I always slow down the playback for your sessions as they move quite swiftly and my brain and body are a bit slow. Maybe when I’ve practised a few times I will be able to move from pose to pose more quickly.

That felt so good! Wonderful stretches but must get myself a better strap and try the hammock pose again. ❤️🙏
